Incredible service. Incredible food. Incredible beer. What else do you want? Absolutely incredible, love it. I will be returning.

Fantastic pub with a young enthusiastic team. Several steps up from the usual pub food. The black bream was fantastic.Highly recommended.

Popped in for a refresher on the long way home from Kent to Hampshire. Very cosy pub. Acces to the parking area was a bit narrow, but managed to get thru without scraping the car.(x-trail)From there, we walked thru the beer garden via a little pathway ( think follow the yellow brick road but in brown and grey, lol). Had a half pint, big glass of cola and a couple bags of crisps. £8 odd. So not too bad. They did do meals but as we were only visiting for a refresh we didn't look at the menu.

Nice pub but pricey for the small amount of food.

We had an early evening meal here after a good 6 mile walk whilst enjoying a weekend away in a local cottage. Very warm welcome for locals and non-locals alike. Hearty Gary’s chicken and mushroom pie n mash for me, my wife enjoyed the Sussex Smokie. Good local Harvey’s beer, and bottle of Rose wine to wash it all down. Their home made bread also worth a try, and you can buy it to take home if you want as well. Will return when in the area, a nice quiet local hostelry with great food and a warm welcome

Had a delicious lunch here, Gary's steak pie was excellent and the beer battered haddock was delicious. Excellent service, friendly and welcoming staff. Harvey's ale and sauvignon blanc. We always visit when in the area, looking forward to the next time!

We stayed in Brede for a few days and I actually wished we could have stayed longer to have the opportunity to spend a few more evenings in the Red Lion. The people were so friendly and accommodating and the food was wonderful. This is such a gem and I would go out of my way to visit again.

We've just moved into the area and were delighted to discover the Red Lion. Friendly, welcoming and full of character, we thoroughly enjoyed some great food in the restaurant and the Tuesday fish and chip take away was amazing. Highly recommended!

Cosy, warm and welcoming. Food was nice, the meat was cooked perfectly. My only criticism would be the lack of green vegetables with the carvery. Red cabbage with cinnamon wasn't nice. Not sure if others would agree, but to me it doesn't go with a roast dinner and somewhat spoilt an otherwise good traditional well cooked roast.

We had a weekend away in Brede and called in to the pub a couple of times. Fantastic pub, friendly people, excellent beers, the food was superb and the daily baked bread homemade on the premises was to die for, and they are dog friendly. We wished we had a pub like this in our village.
