“We were a party of thirteen, four of whom were little children, and here for Grandad's birthday celebration. On arrival we were given a very friendly welcome and a beautifully laid out table. This restaurant has a wonderful interior with a great ambience even when not so busy. The waiters were so patient in dealing with this fairly unruly, loud group, and managed to get orders and initial drinks sorted out in quick and efficient order. The food proved to be marvellous, and was appreciated by all; the little ones enjoyed tasting the adults food, even the very spicy dishes!. We all vowed to come back soon; the Christmas menu did look very tempting!”

“Arrived at what seemed to be peak time on a Friday, and the team opened an area for us otherwise it would have been full! Great cocktails and the staff at the bar were really fun. Food area was a bit overwhelming for me honestly, lots of people waiting to order and because of the tables and other bar, it felt very cramped and noisy and everyone was in everyone else's way. Everyone was in good spirits despite that. Didn't get to try the food I wanted to because the place stopped taking orders, but actually meant I tried something different which was wonderful - the sea bass at the Thai place. The spring rolls were amazing too.
After about an hour (so 8pm or so) the crowd thinned out and it was much more enjoyable, I think I'd swerve weekends or go a bit later in future.
I don't think it was advertised that Boatyard was closed for a few weeks either so was disappointed to not get to try it but next time!”

“Me and my partner went to Kurry King for Valentine’s Day. The man who took our order was very friendly and explained different dishes to us. The food was also delicious. Honestly the best Indian I have had.”
