Roast lamb to die for. Melt in the mouth. Just made mint sauce. My fellow diner had the roast beef with creamed horseradish, i had some, just yummy. Veg perfect and the gravy, aahhh. Lovely glass of red to accompany. Guess who will be booking again.!

We arrived late without a table booking and got a table for two. The atmosphere in there is very relaxing and you don’t have another table close by with that claustrophobic feeling of being elbow to elbow with others up close. Nice mellow jazz playing in the background and attentive and friendly staff. We had burrata which is incredible with salmon fish cakes. Kedgeree which was excellent and lamb merguez sausages to follow. Delicious wheat beer and elderflower spritz to wash it down. After a tactical pause we had pudding of pear and ginger sticky toffee pudding and a green gage frangipane tart. We shared a glass of tokaji Hungarian sweet desert wine which was stunning. The portions sizes are great and so is the value for money! Highly recommended and we would love to come again. Thank you guys for the pleasant, mellow & lovely night

Oh my goodness! 2nd visit in 2 weeks and both have been amazing. The menu is interesting and has some lovely changes. All seasonal and very local produce.We asked for wine recommendations for each course and we're literally blown away by the knowledge and quality of the wines served. Cannot praise highly enough and would highly recommend. We'll be going back again soonWe spent quite a bit but we had everything we wanted and more. Would consider great value for money. Please try it out!
