Great food, really friendly owner and staff welcoming greetings every time I go there fish cooked fresh really tasty chips the same and generous portions, always found the shop clean hence used this fish and chip shop on hundreds of occasions and would recommend this shop at all times. And finally I am not paid for this review it's genuine

Eat in , Service was excellent. Food was first class. Haven't had Spam fritters for 45 years since junior school , they were amazing. Would thoroughly recommend.

Cheery service, always good food and value for money. You can eat in but my choice Rock and Chips was a take-out. The fish portion was a little small said the frying man and so he refunded £2 before I even saw the portion. I always this chippie when in town.

Soooo goood. We went back twice.Generous portions. Friendly staff. Clean, and, I mean CLEAN tables.Typical English fish n chips, but also a really good selection of other foods.Excellent prices.Highly recommended.

Food was freshly cooked and crispy. Service was lovely. One of the best Cod fish I've had.
Lovely tasting fish and very big portions! Chips were tasty but could do with being a little bit crisper. Overall, I very much enjoyed and would definitely return!

They usually good but lately they been awful. Their chips now sits and becomes dry and been overcooked. Last night we ordered fish, chips and calamari rings and the batter has been greasy because they either don’t change the oil or not hot enough and their calamari ring’s batter was over cooked and very rubbery and both me and dad found we actually suffered food poisoning. They have become bad this last couple of months

Freshly cooked fish and chips and great service too.I ate at one of the tables in the shop (they have tables inside and just outside on the street). The team behind the counter were great, very welcoming and happy to help.I had fish, chips, mushy peas and a tin of pop. Batter was crispy, chips were fresh from the fryer and there were plenty of peas. Table service was a nice touch, china plate, knife and fork and plenty of S&V available.It was a Monday evening so the shop wasn't mobbed but there was a steady flow of customers. I noticed that all customers were informed how long their food would be.Proper fish and chip shop. I'll be back

always good food as myself and dad came in earlier and portions was huge and asked for 2 large fish and me and dad had to share one as they was that big and even small chips was big. prices are even good
