Possibly the worst fish and chips I've ever had. Large cod was so small and thin and the batter absorbed so much oil it was inedible. The chips were gritty so I assume we're not washed properly.

Great fish and chipsThey could be a bit more organized. One working hard three behind the counter chatting and laughing. Streaming.

Only place this side of Hastings open on a Sunday. Nice chips... not grease.

The food was awsome. Chips were plentiful and cooked to perfection. Sausages werent bad either. Not our usual chip shop but could well be now.

Food was really good, great size portions at a very reasonable price, will definitely use them especially as they are open from 12.30 till 21.00 , I did have to wait 20 mins but food nice & freshly cooked. Parking is a bit of a pain but worth stopping for.

Used to love this chippy and been a regular for years but never again! Not for the first time we've rung with no reply so driven over only to find they've closed an hour early! Be warned closing time of 9pm but stop cooking approximately an hour before. Should have found somewhere new after the raw fish incident! Gone downhill fast.. new management?

Can't compare to anywhere else nearby as we were only down there for 4 nights and was the only place off site we got food from but what we had was good value for money and the member of staff was polite who served us. I went on a Thursday to get the food and I was the only one in there at the time but during busy periods there could be the chance of feeling cramped. I would probably give this a 3.5 rather than a 4 but it's better than a 3 so decided to go up rather than down.

Nice little chippy just outside Combe Haven Holiday Park. They had no Rock/Huss our fish of choice, so I ordered 2 regular Cod, it was cooked to order, slightly heavy batter, tasted very good, we shared regular chips, luckily as it was a very big portion.

As the reviews were good thought we would try them. The fish was so dry didn’t even taste like fish. Had to throw most of it away. Won’t be using them again

We order this evening from the catch for home delivery.Food took about 2 hrs to arrive . Kept moving the delivery time. When the food arrived the chips were luke warm. My plaice was over cooked and oily. My husband said his cod was the same. Grandson did enjoy their's sausages. Was disappointed as we have collected in the past and the fish & chips were good
