The food was 10 out of 10, the crumble was legendary. The couple that own the pub are absolutely lovely, the most welcoming pub we’ve found in Kent. Absolutely go! And try the sausage and mash!!

Decent place with a welcoming landlady. Good range of drinks on tap. We sat in the garden for a quick pint, there's plenty of seating and space.

Just stopped for a quick drink but rather wished this was my local!

Regular trad jazz event held on 4th Thursday of every month. We'll attended by up to 40 jazz fans. Bar food available at reasonable prices. Always one good real ale on hand pump.

Beautiful pub in a quiet and peaceful location. The staff is very friendly, the atmosphere is very welcoming. The building is from 1700 century, with a beautiful fire place. The restaurant is very clean.

This is a lovely old pub and serving terrific food. Must go more often. Under new ownership it is very much cared for and the whole place feels great. Easy to walk to or to drive and park.

A lovely countryside pub, accessible by many of the surrounding walks or large free carpark outside.Wide ranging menu with traditional pub food and a specials board. Generous portions and fair pricing.Perfect for a quick bite for lunch or a larger meal - especially before the popular quiz nights.Friendly and helpful staff - thank you to Steph for keeping the fire well stoked and providing some excellent banter.

REALLY IMPRESSED! My stable yard had their annual Christmas Dinner here last night. There would have been around 30 of us. Usually our Christmas Dinners are a great social occasion but the food is always a disappointment - over cooked, tasteless, not hot enough, forgotten courses etc with the excuse 'so hard to get it right for so many people'. Not this time! Absolutely spot on food and very good value for the price paid of £30 per head. Service was friendly and fast at the bar with the talking point all night was how good the food was!
