What immediately struck us about our first, but will most certainly not be our last visit to the 'George' was the the convivial 'local's local' feel. Popped in for a quick lunch. Very friendly welcome. Gorgeous traditional pub with lovely decor and very cosy (but not cramped). Everything on the menu looks great and there were also some specials of the day. Light lunch was absolutely delish and very fairly priced. Will definitely be returning and so pleased to find a new place to eat!

Really friendly pub with great service and great food. They have outside seating as well as inside with a little play area for kids. The portions of food were a good size. Car park available as well.
