Only wish I had tried eating here before...food was incredibly delicious , service was absolutely spot on, and the atmosphere made for a wonderful birthday Sunday roast.Already looking forward to going again soon.

Really great food - onion rings and chicken wings were delicious as were the lamb tacos. Super helpful staff. Very accommodating of my allergies, which was much appreciated. Tasty range of beers and ciders. Really cosy decor and welcoming. Busy night with a party out the back, so food a little slow in coming out but completely understandable as to why and staff were lovely.

We were introduced to this restaurant pub by our friend and his larger than life companion Moose. Absolutely beautiful location clean warm environment friendly staff. Exciting menu to choose from along with specials and Thursday night steak deals for two. Food was absolutely spot on vibrant flavours and meats cooked to perfection.Will definitely be back. Thank you guys for a great evening.

What a lovely place. We had lunch on a Saturday. There were open fires at both ends of the lounge bar. The lady running front of house did a fantastic job of working the bar and the table service. She was super friendly, and the service was first class. The food was freshly made to order and was well presented on boards. It's mostly meat based but there are some options for vegetarians and vegans. Highly recommended.

This was the best steak I've had in years ....never mind the cost it was totally worth it ?Parking: Don't worry about parking....it was worth yhe visit

Excellent starters ( fried calamari, crispy duck pancakes and whitebait) The burgers were delicious , as were the fries and garden salad. I asked for raw onion rings and though they were not on the menu there was no problem. We had a warm welcome and were seated near the log fire .. This pub is near our home and we are very lucky. It's a great bar with a good selection of beers. Wine list is adequate but it would be nice to have better quality wines by the glass available.

Upon being sat down at our table it took 15mins for our drinks to arrive, we placed our order; 1 starters and 4 mains. The starter and 2 children’s mains were meant to come out together, all mains came out at once and no starters. Once brought to their attention the starter had not been brought out there was a half hearted sorry and an offer to bring it to the table along with our mains to which I declined. The children’s dinner ‘pasta’ was just about warm, the 2 adult roasts were very nice. We always have deserts when at other pubs/restaurants but due to the poor start and service we declined and paid the bill to which there was no sorry or offer of a price reduction. All in all mains was good everything else was very average.
