High St, Nutley, UckfieldIncredible chocolate waffle with cream. Service was excellent. We sat outside under cover and heater was turned on for us. Coffee was great and chicken Caesar sandwich was the best sandwich I have had out, with a nice side salad. Highly recommend.

43 New Town, UckfieldI can't speak highly enough for this pub. It was ideal for our BH7 Hash running "club" where we meet up on Monday evenings, follow a set trail and return to the pub for a meal & decent beer/ale. The staff at the Station were friendly, helpful & obliging. Despite not knowing in advance just how many would be eating a meal on a Monday night the chef promptly provided delicious food for all who ordered & it was served by the cheerful girls. The beer was good too as were the prices. Thank you to all at the Station Inn for a great venue.

London Rd, UckfieldWe were visiting my aunt about a month ago, at a nearby rest home. Not having been to uckfield before, we had to rely on reviews, to choose our Sunday lunch venue & stumbled across Ringles Cross on Google.Luckily, the positive reviews were accurate & I'm just surprised the pub wasn't busier, based on our experience.We had 3 roasts & a scampy & chips for my 12 year old nephew, who inexplicably, doesn't like roasts ?The scampy was generous, with really crispy chips & fish, with a bit of salad ?The roasts were fantastic - really well cooked, plentiful portions of meat, really roastie roasties & decent selection of veg, al dante & cauliflower cheese included.What we all liked, was the fact they brought out an extra gravy boat & all the sauces, without asking - a nice touch.The service was efficient, friendly, but not obtrusive at all.We also had 4 sweets, which were lovely & drinks.All told (we added a tip) it was £120 for 4 of us, which was really reasonable for the quality of the food.As mentioned, the pub was surprisingly quiet, but that suited us, as we were on a slight deadline.You definitely got the impression it was a well run pub & the stuff seemed keen that we'd had a nice time/ good food.We would highly recommend it & I'm sure when we visit my aunt again, we'll be back for more! ?

39 Framfield Rd, UckfieldBrilliant takeaway, really good food but be warned gets very busy. Took me 20 minutes to get through to place order, then 90 minutes for it to be ready to collect. Worth it though one of the best chinese takeaways i have ever had.

High St, Maresfield, UckfieldWe had a really lovely stay at The Chequers. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff were helpful and attentive. We ate dinner in the restaurant which was delicious. In the morning a continental breakfast was laid out which was fresh and appetising. My husband also had a cooked breakfast which he enjoyed. The shower wasn’t brilliant but I guess it’s quite difficult to get the pressure up in the top floor. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely stay there again.

Fortune Fish Bar
210 High St, UckfieldTravelled 9 hours just to try and wasn’t disappointed. Anyone passing by should in fact needs to get some. The fish was just mouth watering an the chips was just as good. Oh and the scampi was just beautiful. Owners are super friendly and welcoming. After having this I don’t feel any other chippy will compare. Would happily make the 9 hour round trip again. Thank you.

Sport on the tv, pool room being used and darts boards available.Ordered a burger from the menu which was amazing. Proper pub grub.Prices throughout were impressive. 226 High St, UckfieldThe food was amazing.\\nWhile I appreciate they were busy as hell on Xmas Eve, having someone sticking their head through the door from the kitchen and berating the poor girl taking orders, in front of customers, and while she was on the phone is borderline abuse. It's not her fault people want to come in and order food. Be civil. Hence the 1-star atmosphere, awkward doesn't even come close.

The owner was very friendly and welcoming and there was a very good choice of food. We had toasted sandwiches and potato skins, both served with a side salad, then another coffee and cake.The food was delicious, great atmosphere and the owner was very helpful with our allergy questions.I would thoroughly recommend, and we'll definitely visit again.

78 New Town, UckfieldDidn't fancy my chances at like 11pm and thought it was going to be a McD's but lucked out chancing upon this place. Great food, affordable, good portions (£8 mango lassi jug can serve 3 or 4 people btw!) and fast, with friendly service and generally just highly recommend. Good veggie options.

57 High Street, UckfieldPizza arrived at the right time and was warm.Just a friendly suggestion - some chefs have the knack to make sure that the cheese does not get too stretchy and its taste can be relished. Like today the cheese on the pizza was too stretchy which spoiled the whole fun of relishing a pizza so if the other chefs can be mindful of this aspect it could really help.

McDonald's Bell Farm Lane
Bellfarm Lane, Uckfield5 stars to young lad who picked up my wallet and kept it safe behind the counter in a safe and made sure I was who I was when picking up my wallet.He is an absolute gem, I can’t thank him enough he is a credit to the community and his family he is such a sweet lad.
