We have always classed this as the best Indian restaurant/takeaway for miles.Last night's meal was possibly the worst meal I have ever had :(Tough chicken, soggy prawns and sadly zero flavour.What has changed?

Didn't fancy my chances at like 11pm and thought it was going to be a McD's but lucked out chancing upon this place. Great food, affordable, good portions (£8 mango lassi jug can serve 3 or 4 people btw!) and fast, with friendly service and generally just highly recommend. Good veggie options.

Uckfield tandoori is one of the better curry places in Uckfield.They are usually good - nearly every time.The chicken tikka madras is a good, and their coconut rice is very nice.I’m not a big fan of the jelfrazi here, it’s a-bit lacking in sauce and has too many vegetables to be able to get a good dunk with a naan bread, but it’s preferences I guess.Occasionally the food could be warmer,Even though it’s come straight from the store quickly. But I’ve had curry here many times this year, because the other curry places in town will have a bad one now and then which will put you off.

Not really worth one star.Obviously more interested in take aways.We sat in the restaurant for ages waiting for our meal, but take aways were going all the time.We walked out.Either be a restaurant or a takeaway, because you are not capable of doing both.
Really nice restaurant, service was efficient and polite. The food was excellent.

Delicious food and very kind staffKid-friendliness: Our daughter trapped her finger in the door and the waiter was so kind and got her a little bowl of ice to put her fingers in and some mint chocolates to put a smile back on her face. Very impressed

Beautiful meal. Had tandoori chicken and salad with pompadoms and mint sauce. Chicken dansak, pilau rice and mushroom bahji. All cooked fresh, salad really lovely and crisp. Excellent service and food delicious ?. Would definitely be coming back to buy a curry again. Excellent.
