Lovely vibe in both the decor & clientele, with a really friendly barman (Tom) who made the best amaretto sours I've ever had - was not expecting cocktails at a village pub, never mind such mindblowingly good ones!! Brilliant pub.

A truly incredible stay - we stayed in the Hart Suite. A wonderful big bath, maybe one of the comfiest beds I’ve ever stayed in at a hotel. And to top it off a very tasty breakfast included the next morning! I couldn’t recommend the White Hart more - 10/10.Rooms: Beautifully decorated!!Nearby activities: Beautiful walks around the areaFood & drinks: Lovely dinner and breakfast!

Quite exquisite, even a minor problem was smoothed over efficiently. The duck and seafood pie were delicious and the wine superb.

No snack menu but a gastro pub which has retained the air of being a local whilst offering fine dining. This is an admirable feat

Had a great stay last Thursday. Rooms have been substantially modernized and upgraded. Adjacent free parking. Very friendly service. Topped off with an excellent English breakfast in the morning. Thoroughly recommended.

Cosy with a great selection of cocktails and English wines. Didn't stay for food, but had a great time as a family hanging out and playing some games.

The best Sunday lunch by far. As a family who always dine out for a Sunday lunch The White Hart in Wadhurst is by far the best in the area. From the high quality food & great staff who couldn’t do enough for you.

Lovely flavours, great meal. A friendly waitress who had tried the dishes and was happy to recommend too.

We recently had a stay with our family, the rooms were brilliant and a very comfortable bed. The food we had was excellent and we had some superb English wines that were recommended to us. We would definitely stay again, well worth a visit.

One night stay on Saturday 7th October 2023. We had booked an early arrival but the room was not ready until 15.30 No parking No premium lager Expensive drinks The meal was ok on a limited menu..a glass of wine was £10 The staff were nice but it’s the first time I’ve stayed anywhere and been left on our own, the staff left when the bar was shut Breakfast not until 0915 Overall, I would not return

Popped in for Sunday lunch with a couple of friends on the offchance there was space. They kindly fitted us in.Dinner was ok, I had the wagyu roast beef - which was ok, and my friends the wagyu burger - I wish I’d had that to be honest.Dessert was much better. I had the ice cream With espresso and a plum liqueur (can’t remember what it was called) - it was delicious - I didn’t really take much notice of my friends puds as I was too interested in mine ????. There was certainly no complaints though.Service was great. Happy staff, lovely people at the bar and a very welcoming feeling. Definitely be back for the burger next time.

Busy town thronging with people although parking was not an issue. Good selection of beers including Harvey's of Lewes Best Bitter. Food very good, made to order on the premises by chef, a little wait but worthwhile.

Excellent dinner at what is now our ‘local’. Not your general pub menu which is great. Extensive wine list, both international and English. Look forward to sampling more in the near future.
