Sussex Pass @ The White Hart
High St, WadhurstLovely vibe in both the decor & clientele, with a really friendly barman (Tom) who made the best amaretto sours I've ever had - was not expecting cocktails at a village pub, never mind such mindblowingly good ones!! Brilliant pub.

The Bull Inn Ticehurst
Huntley Mill Rd, Ticehurst, WadhurstBeautiful country pub, with open log fires and lovely charm. They do doggy dinners which our pooch licked the bowl clean. The food is delicious and portion quantities are good value for money. Highly recommend.

The Old Vine Country Pub Inn
The Old Vine, Cousley Wood Rd, Cousley Wood, WadhurstGood atmosphere, and a nice buzz with friendly staff, I hope after quite a few proprietors in the last few years it settles down. As a coeliac, the pub needs to offer more gluten free beer, other than just peroni (and we don't always want to drink cider) There are two breweries nearby, Lakedown and The Gun Brewery who do great gluten free beer options and sell to local establishments too. I would go to their taprooms in preference because of this.

Simply Indian
Fenn House, High St, Wadhurst1st time we have eaten at Simply Indian and it was fantastic. The staff were very friendly, my daughter is a vegan so they recommended the dishes that they could make her her, very knowledgeable about what would be in her dishes as well. When our food arrived, it looked smelt and tasted amazing. I opted for a zlamd main, which can sometimes be very hit and miss, but it just melted in my mouth, not to spicy and there was a lot of meat in the dish not just bulked out with vegetables. The vegan dishes were also well presented and vert flavoursome. We will be visiting again, highly recommended.Dietary restrictions: The team can also provide vegan options to and also explained what is not possible to make vegans, for example pilau rice!
