First time eating here and it was incredible. They had an amazing amount to choose from and being vegetarian that makes a wonderful change. It tasted as good as it sounded and was great value for money. The service was exceptional with a really relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Probably one of the best Sunday roasts I have had and definitely the best locally.Went for the beef and turkey option.It came with plenty of veg, a great Yorkshire pudding, pigs in blankets and amazing roast potatoes.The cherry Bakewell and warm custard was amazing too.In all, Worthy of 6 stars if I could.

I took my Mum, Nan and Sister here on Wednesday for an early mother’s day meal out, and my god did it not fail to impress. We arrived for our booking and were sat quickly and a drinks order was taken, the specials menu was truly something for everyone and was extremely spoiled for choice - as i had trouble deciding on my starter, main and dessert there was too many things i wanted to try! Lee was our waiter and he could not have been more attentive, friendly and wonderful, from start to finish he was incredible! The food arrived and oh my goodness it was all cooked to perfection, everyone on the table said what a gem this place is and how wonderful and friendly the staff are. I would go as far to say that the service and food we had here was possibly the best experience i’ve had dining out ever and we have not stopped recommending and raving to everyone about it since! We will definitely be back and thank you to all the wonderful staff that work so hard and made our day incredible.

Fantastic food with even better service. Their attention to detail is outstanding and the attentiveness of the wait staff is far beyond majority of pubs in the area. We were a table of two and although almost fully booked they fit us in and made us feel comfortable. Zero complaints and an exemplary restaurant.

Had a meal here recently with my family and I was super impressed with all aspects of the visit. The food was delicious and was enjoyed all round, and I thought the service received from the front of house staff was impeccable. They were super friendly and efficient and I’d highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!

It is easy to feel nervous when entering a place to dine alone, but I needn't have worried as I was immediately put at ease by the friendly welcome of the bar staff. Ordered the 8oz rump steak which was one of the best I've had for a long time, full of flavour. The garlic sautéed mushrooms were fantastic too! The place was busy for a Tuesday night and clearly a regular for some, judging by the rapport with staff, despite a slightly out of the way location. I would heartily recommend this place to others.
