I ate here a week or so ago with a group of work colleagues. The food was outstanding, and so was the service. The staff are very friendly, engaging and attentive. Considering there were eight of us, the food arrived promptly and did not disappoint in the slightest! The prices reflect the quality, and I cannot recommend it any more highly. We have a large facility nearby and often have employees from other offices visiting, so this has become the number one place to tell everyone about. I have accommodation booked for the coming week, and I'm sure that won't disappoint either. Keep up the great work, and I'm sure you'll be seeing plenty more business from us.

We had dinner in the main restaurant and it was fantastic. The menu is amazing with delicious specials - we would definitely recommend the sea bass, very well put together and really tasty. Great drinks menu and more importantly excellent service, really friendly and attentive, we can’t wait to return!

Fantastic pub with rooms - well appointed rooms and really good food in the restaurant. Excellent for gluten free too - lots of options and well labelled.

Last minute decision to go out for dinner and it didn’t disappoint. Haven’t been for many months but it was very enjoyable. Menu was very broad (including pub classics) with local sourced seasonal partridge and pheasant and relatively local fish (considering we aren’t on the coast!) They also had a normal specials menu plus burns specials menu. Ended up having 3 courses because it was that good! Highly recommend! We will be back!

Lovely pub, delicious Sunday roast, and cosy heated outdoors area so we could bring the dog. Staff went out of their way to help when we had some car trouble.

The Three Hills was a pleasant surprise, with its exceptional food, fine and friendly service, and delightful atmosphere. My partner and I were particularly enamoured with the extensive fish menu, which is a specialty of the chef. Food presentation was exquisite, and everything was particularly tasty. Our server Eleanor was an attentive wonder, so I was perfectly pleased to pay the optional 10% service charge included on the bill. If I have anything negative at all to report it is that the starter and dessert were so exceptionally good that they left the entree seeming a little flat between them, although I am certain if they had been had in isolation we would have deemed them excellent. Highly recommend the Three Hills. An excellent gem in the Essex-Sussex borders. Worth the drive.Food & drinks: We found the restaurant exceptional.

We attended for a Sunday roast in the Orangery, in a party that included a mix of adults and young children. Overall it was good and we would come back.Pros:- Delicious food which we all enjoyed. We have eaten here a couple of times before and the quality has been excellent every time.- Friendly and attentive waiting staff, once sat at our table. We were met by two waitresses in the Orangery and both were very warm and charming.- Lovely setting and ambience in the Orangery.Cons:- We were met with no welcome when we arrived (on time) which made us feel a bit uncomfortable. When we asked whether we could be shown to our table, we were told that the table was not ready and we were then left standing in the entrance for about 12 minutes until we were eventually shown in.- An apparent mishap with the ordering system meant that our starters did not arrive until quite some time after ordering. We were offered some free bread and olive oil to tide us over, but were very hungry by the time the starters did come out, which by then was approx. 1hr10mins after we had first arrived at the pub.

I had an outstanding Sunday lunch with a large group of friends. We were all blown away with the quality of the food, execution of the cooking and friendly service. We were heading back to London after a weekend in Norfolk and stumbled across the pub on Google Maps and couldn’t have been happier. We’re really keen to go back and stay overnight. Thank you to the lovely team for making us feel so welcome and looked after.

We had a delicious Saturday lunch - our first visit and definitely not our last. Food was superb and lovely, unhurried, very polite, friendly service. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and look forward to coming again in the New Year.
