The location is really lovely. The staff very friendly and polite . But the food was not good. I know it wasn’t expensive and you get what you pay for , my husband and I had lasagna it was really salty and it was like a runny mess in the dish , obviously it had been done in a microwave wave but even the cheese on the top hadn’t been browned off it was just really runny. The bread that came with it was fine . But I have eaten better lasagna from Iceland. I gave the 3 stars mainly for the staff who I feel must have felt embarrassed serving this to us , and the location.

perfect summer spot. fantastic views of the river with a great outside area. lovely staff quite chatty, and quick service. Steak Salad was delicious and cooked to perfection. Will be back. :) p

It had obviously been busy as a lot of the tables were still being up the staff were efficient 1 park I don't understand is the 2-hour parking limit if you're having a meal and a nice chat you could easily cover.The view of the lake is ok for a public house in a town.

Used to love this place. When I went this week, the service was slow, food not up to normal standard, lost atmosphere. The only thing I did like was the price, but I would have paid more to enjoy more. Didn't stop for afters, left feeling very disappointed going on past experiences. Will take a while to return.

Visited here recently, meeting up with friends for lunch.The food was delicious and hot. Served in a timely manner and the staff were all lovely.There was chewing gum stuck to one of the menus which was a bit gross and the lemonade was off which we all soon realised upon drinking it, but this was swiftly rectified and replacement drinks were given.Will visit again as the food was lovely and its in a beautiful setting, especially on a sunny afternoon.

Was waiting half an hour yesterday for some drinks we'd placed on the app when it certainly wasn't busy and when I went to the bar to check, whom I assume was the supervisor still opted to serve a new order at the bar over ours which was on the screen behind her. Albeit the vibe and food was brilliant but was not checked on or offered any condiments either. (Never do reviews and pardon the pettiness but c'mon).

Well a lots changed since I was last here. Firstly the Parking…. Watch where you park or you’ll end up with a fine ! It used to be if you ate at the Quays you could park in the hotel car park …. Now if your there for more than two hours it’s a hefty fine! Two hours if your going out to dinner etc is not really long enough. We parked elsewhere and walked back to the Quays. As it was a nice day we sat outside and ordered drinks on the App …. After a while a Barman came out and said “ did you order on the app?” Yes we said … he then said “ go to the bar and collect your order ….we don’t deliver the drinks anymore”! Absolutely silly….. he could have bought the two drinks with him… and delivered the message … presume he was making a point…. We decided not to order food for outside so we went inside. Ordered food on the App …. And the drinks …. Which were delivered to the table! The Quays seemed to be short staffed …. First time I’ve ever seen “ doormen” serving food and drink and collecting glasses. We waited around 40 minutes for our meal … which wasn’t exactly hot, however not wanting to wait another 40 minutes we didn’t complain. If it had been hot it would have been lovely…. As it was …. Barely warm chips aren’t that nice. Might well leave it another two years before I go back.

We had a wonderful family meal here today. Good was delicious and the portions you get for the price is excellent. Staff were lovely especially Lisa who looked after our table and made sure all our food was done just how we liked it. The price is so good and I will definitely be returning more often.

Went to the Quays for a few drinks with friends, ended up staying all night the garden was packed, we has such a great night .

First time visiting for a friends birthday and unfortunately the last after todays service. Was having a lovely time, until the bartender dropped incorrect drinks and food to our table. The drinks we thought could potentially be ours as a member of our party who had ordered was outside. We said we didn’t think they were ours but he may have ordered them. Took off the ones we knew for sure were ordered and left the rest. The barmaid came over and explained someone had ordered them to our table and apologised saying that was their mistake and took back the rest we had not touched. Food was delivered to our table just after and yet again we explained it was not ours. I then left to get some drinks at the bar as she explained they wasn’t meant to be doing table service, no problem. Came back to my friends saying the security guard was kicking us out? Very confused and thought they were joking. I said let me speak to the bar lady that served us the drinks and said it wasn’t our error. She said ‘unfortunately the head security guard calls the shots’ I said, ‘but you explained to us that wasn’t our fault and we didn’t drink them’ she agreed..but again proceeded to say, ‘you won’t be able to change her mind’ shocking service, and absolute shamble of communication amongst staff when each is saying something different against the other. Complete injustice and honestly just embarrassing communication amongst staff. Will not be returning.
