The curry and rice were very good, well up to the standard, however, the poppadoms were stale and chewy, not crisp as you would usually expect. The chicken pakora were also quite dry. All in all, not a bad experience, but not great.

Went in on a Friday evening, the chap on the desk was super busy, but took my order (set meal for two) and got going. I waited about 15 mins, and the food arrived. It was a big bag! They were nice and friendly as I left.My kids and I were just staying at a friend's house around the corner, so the food was still piping hot when we got home. Opened up the array of packages and boxes and was amazed. So much food.I was a bit worried as the bright colour of the curry isn't what I'm used to, but the taste was delicious! The bhajies were crisp on the outside and soft in the middle. The potato dish was amazing, not like anything I've had before. The kids loved the Naan breads, describing them and buttery and soft.The "meal for two" satisfied one (large) adult, two teenagers and my youngest son (11). Work out at about £6.50 each. Bargain.

The people running this restaurant are extremely rude. When I went to order my food I ordered then not long after I noticed how dirty the place was inside and immediately regretted it but was too embarrassed to say anything so just waited patiently for my food. Food didn’t take long then when I got home I started eating it then I found a hair in my food, and got food poising couldn’t stop throwing up for 3 days straight. When I rang to explain hair in my food to restaurant they hung up so me and my partner went there as it’s right next to us and they screamed abuse at us and told us to get out of shop. I must say I’ve never quite experienced anything like it, personally I would never order from here again and advise anyone else to do the same.

Ordered last year and it wasn't very good but saw a offer so thought I'd try again and it is now my go to Indian takeaway such flavouful food crispy chips tastes fresh thankyou for a good meal would definitely recommend

Don't ever leave reviews, but this was so good I had to, food was delicious,piping hot and cooked perfectly, I had the chicken madras and although not as spicy as normal was even better as could really taste the flavours, my 10 year old son had the chicken tikka main which he loved and my partner tried the chicken tikka Sally for the first time and said it was beautiful, all in all big thumbs up

We normally order from Shuma takeaway and have had no problems in the past. I always order the prawn curry, which has always been nice. Tonight, I ordered the prawn curry and straight away noticed a horrible fishy smell when I opened it up, It smelt like the prawns had turned. My partner tried one of the prawns and spat it straight out and said it tasted of really strong fish. I called up Shuma to be told there's nothing they could do apart from sending another prawn curry, which obviously I don't want after being put off by the previous one. The man on the phone told me he didn't know what happened and to call back later and put the phone down on me. Wouldn't order from them again now. ( Wouldn't even give it a 1 star for sending out gone of sea food )

I will never order anywhere else. When calling the restaurant the staff are always so polite. The food is always hot, and cooked with fresh ingredients. Always has well garnished food. It's honestly so tasty. The value for money is great too. If you do order at peak time, like weekends or dinner time of course you may have to wait. I'd rather this as the quality of food is always great, no matter what time you order. Highly recommended. Thank you to all the staff for a fantastic service.
