We visited TGI’s in Basildon for the first time in many years, we had heard bad things about this place in the past which stopped us from coming back. We decided to give it a go, and was very very impressed with the food portions for a lunchtime menu. My mother is also vegan and she was very impressed with the vegan options. The only thing is I think the music was slightly too loud for the number of customers in the restaurant. Other than that, lovely experience!

Came in for a slap up meal with the mrs, proper good grub ordered the ultimate ribs and let me tell you they were indeed, ultimate.I was going to go for the classic but Natalie our lovely waitress recommended I try the ultimate and wowzers what a reccomendation!The stand out of the evening was the lovely Natalies service, cracking sense of humour and made us feel special, never let our drinks go empty, a smile forever on her face. Would defo come back again esp if Natalie was our waitress!Ultimate Ribs? Ultimate service more like!

All of our drinks took forever, one of our friends had their food really late and on my plate I had a burnt steak.The Tangtastic cocktails are absolutely disgusting and the purple rains aren’t purple odd…

So the food and staff were friendly but everyone needs to be aware of the SCAM from the menu offering 2 for 1 on cocktails a half measure glass no price until you get the bill and they are trying to charge £16 for a piña colada basically put the price up to cover the 2 for 1

Just visited with my family and even though I said we'd slate her ....we loved having Nessa as our waitress. Food and atmosphere was good, but in all honesty, Nessa made it for us.

Had a great night out with friends go karting and popped in to TGI's with no booking. Georgina our waitress was brilliant, nothing was to much trouble for her and everything done with a smile. Thank you.

As a group of friends we got yogether for a pre Christmas meet up. Our waitress Emma was absolutely superb. Thought she was the manager! Speedy, attentive and super friendly. Even when we flagged about with codes, vouchers and splitting the bill, nothing was too much trouble for her. She made our experience all the better, alongside the delicious cocktails! A great night. As long as you're happy with a loud environment TGI is good. It's difficult to hear each other but there is a happy and relaxed vibe. The menu has drastically reduced which is a shame.

Absolutely lovely evening, which was made even more special by our server Frankie ! Was very attentive and made sure we had everything that we needed throughout our visit. I would recommend and will be coming back hopefully have Frankie again as our server !!!
