I've tried nearly all of the Chinese takeaways in Laindon and Basildon, and this by far the best. The satay sauce is the proper stuff I've been looking for; dark brown, savoury, nutty, warm heat, thin layer of oil on top kind of satay sauce. It's in a totally different league to the gloopy, overly sweet, pale brown greasy slop that other places seem to serve up. I'm really not sure why other reviews suggest the portion sizes are small, the food is served in standard plastic takeaway containers, the same size as every other Chinese takeaway in the area. I highly-recommend the food from Wok 'n' Roll and will be returning here many times again in future.

This has always been our Chinese takeaway of choice because the amount of good Chinese takeaways in Laindon is seriously lacking. The last few meals from there have been appalling. Taste is so fatty and texture is greasy. Really gone downhill. Won't be ordering from there

Not good, portions are tiny and everything tasted bland. Crispy duck was inedible, just fatty mush.
Anyone that goes there should try the mini duck spring rolls with hoisin sauce, and the golden satay noodles are to die for ?
