Ordered chicken biriyani nd butter chiken tikka,doesn't taste like mentioned biriyani it was just a rice with some small chicken pieces, without salt i have to add salt for taste.. Butter chicken was not at looking like butter chiken not at all appealing for eyes.. Very less quantity and Overly priced when compared to other Indian restaurants.

We ordered a takeaway for date night to which the first driver refused we feel due to how long the restaurant was taking. The order time kept changing so after 1hr 30min we got our order for one of the mains to be missing. When calling the restaurant, they said it would be an hour to replace but we could collect. Collection wasn't an option so asked for a refund to which we was told we had to call back at 10 when the manager was there and they hung up the phone. I will NEVER order from there again and I advise people not to. Food that we did get had not alot of meat in and not match taste.

Used to be really good, not anymore.Last two orders had a missing item. On the second time we called to let them know, they did send out a replacement but took an hour to arrive and was cold.Food is ok but a bit bland for the last year.

Do not order from here!I haven't ordered from Zara for a little while but for some silly reason decided to tonight.Big mistake!Ordered through deliveroo at 6pm and waited the estimated time frame for delivery of 40 mins. Waited and waited and still had not received it after 1.5 hours. I then called Zara multiple times to ask about the status of the delivery to possibly cancel but was unable to speak to anyone.Decided to drive and collect my order myself and met my deliveroo driver inside the takeaway. Very nice man.He had been waiting some time, along with what appeared to be several other drivers and disgruntled customers.I still had to wait another 20 mins while they quickly made up my order.No apology from the guy on the desk for the delay and poor service.I feel he is in desperate need of a good customer service refresher course !!Please don't take orders if u are so overwhelmed and if you do, atleast answer your phone to explain the situation so the customer can make alternative arrangements if necessary.Also your recorded telephone msg is very outdated. It states you recently won best in Essex award. I believe that was in fact 2017 , so not very recent.Yes, you used to be good and possibly the best but sadly have deteriorated over the years. I think you have a long, long way to go to achieve that status again.The customer service is dreadful, food mediocre and by the way, the chicken sizzler also promised in recorded msg never arrives.Will not be ordering from you again.

Usually food is OK and it still is however,Came to collect my order I placed online forgot my cash my fault went and got cash so they had time anyways to correct my order.Picked it up got home they forgot one of my items went back myself as I was told it would be at least half hour to deliver to me. When I did come back I could see their delivery driver just sitting there so he could've easily done my order.3 other staff members were also just sitting there chillingAll I got was a half hearted apology. Got back home the madras I has ordered was a lamb Tika massala and the chicken tikka my girlfriend had ordered was a chicken madras.Me going back and forth for that is just unacceptable

Ordered at 7:55 to be told it would arrive around 9:05-9:20pm. At 9:30, we called Restaurant & they said "yes your order has just left the restaurant". At 10pm we received a call from the driver saying I hear there's been a mix up with your order & that our order will be coming out on the next delivery so will be delivered in the next 5 mins. We call the restaurant back at 10:30 as the app said it had been delivered which it hadn't been! We were then told for the second time it's just left the restaurant & will be with you in 10 mins. At 10:45 the order was delivered stone cold and inedible!!! With my Wife being diabetic, she could not wait this length of time & had to make herself something to eat. Almost 3 hours to wait for an order is absolutely disgusting & to receive the order inedible is the icing on the cake!!! We requested a full refund as £40 for this RUBBISH is an absolute insult to the Customer. Absolutely awful Customer Service with lying & deceiving & giving us over-priced Slop.

Haven’t used Zara for ages,we used to use them a lot and always being bombarded with offers .So as I’d been travelling for work hubby ordered takeaway for us.It’s got massively expensive but was supposed to be a treat .Long story short order not picked up,no dinner and money not going back in for three days .Will stick to Deliveroo in future methinks .

Order was over an hour late even after I called them and they gave me an exscuse as I could here them on the pone trying to find my order, no appology, the order was wrong, part of it was missing, the food was of poor standard and we couldn't eat it, try to call them back and they didn't or wouldn't answer,I will never use this poor exscuse of a takeaway agin

2nd time it's recently happened in a few months.(Has happened before a long while ago) Need a new bag checker!!!Order with a dish missing, part of someone's meal. After a call, they will send it out.Two calls chasing, over half hour later the missing dish arrives. Everyone else has eaten. Very frustrating.Can't fault taste of dish. Just don't expect it all to arrive!Just poor service and regular missing items.
