Update. Thursday next, I called and Mr Hadi refunded straight away.Is this typical of their service/delivery/quality?TLDR - Don't order if you want a satisfactory meal on time and hot. If I had could have given zero stars that would be too muchTelephone Ordered Sat 6:33pm with Mr Hadi. He advised 1 hour deliveryI called again at Saturday 7:56pm (1 hour 20 mins elapsed) and was told by Mr Hadi's colleague that despatch had already been made (this turned out to be a lie)I called again at 8:14pm and Mr Hadi said the food was just being despatched and would be with us in 5 minsDelivery at 8:30pm. An hour longer than we were informedThe food was cold and we had to throw away the naan as were limp and greasyWe called for a partial refund at 8:32pm and Mr Hadi offered £10 off the next bill and stated he could not use his card service at that moment. We said that we would not be using his service again and that we wanted £10 credit now. He said he would do that. It is now the following Tuesday and there is no £10 credit on my account.I hope this stirs Mr Hadi's memory and he is gentlemanly enough to sort the situation out. Take this as a warning about the service from Ghandis

Gloomy place with taciturn service. I asked if salad and naan came with my dish but was told no. But they did. So I had ordered garlic naan and spinach unnecessarily. He suggested I order rice too but luckily I didn’t. Papadoms stale and tasteless. There was so much that I left two thirds of it. The lamb was over cooked and solid with a very unattractive sauce. The naan was dry and uneatable. And the waiter serving me dropped patches of red sauce on the white tablecloth without apologising. I left as soon as I could.

Genuinely one of the best Indian meals I've ever enjoyed, absolutely delicious and with Elton John's entire back catalogue in the background absolutely no complaints!

First time I’ve been here on 13/6/2023 and I was very impressed, totally faultless, will most certainly return…????

Ate here on a Tuesday evening (7-10pm). We were the only customers eating in the restaurant for most of the evening (one other family arrived later for an hour) although some takeaways were being collected / delivered. Attentive and friendly service. All of the food was well cooked and enjoyable - we each finished all of our dishes from starters to biryani; from madras to tikka; and from masala to naan. Decent tea and coffee at the end. The restaurant is a little basic with regards to both the decor and the furniture, but it served its purpose and we had a very enjoyable evening. We spent a lot of time chatting as a four and we were not hurried by the staff at all. Happy to return.

Nice little restaurant in Billericay, it's hidden but easy access via car park or high street. Food is authentic and priced very reasonably. I enjoyed their tadka daal, rice and tandoori chicken.

Exceptional food, service, price and again service!!!Mr Hadi, Sultan Barabar and the team provide impeccable food, paired with exceptional service and hospitality. I’ve eaten here for more than 20 years and it is, without doubt, the best Curry house in Billericay!

To echo other reviews dreadful customer service. Ordered via Deliveroo with an hour to delivery. After 1 hr 15 mins called restaurant to be told it’s another 30 mins for delivery. I cancelled and asked for a refund. Money taken from bank account and after trying to call restaurant contacted Deliveroo. Had to wait 4 days for money to be refunded by them. They are over committing on the orders that they cannot deliver on. A shame as have eaten in the restaurant and food was nice. Should have read previous delivery reviews and will not be going there again.

Entered the resteraunt at 7pm and there was only 2 other tables that had people on them. This is important to remember when considering we waited almost 20 minutes for drinks - my lemonade was from a bottle and flat - and for someone to take our order. It took 45 minutes for starters to reach the table and main course was slow to come out. This is a shame as the food was lovely; my beef was tender, thr sauce had flavour and the naan was delicious. Overall, this would be great for takeaway but we would not return to dine in.

We had a lovely meal with friends, good food and drink at reasonable prices and very good choices on the menu. Well worth a visit.

I have ordered Lamb Korai and Garlic Naam to deliver. I've spent 2 years in India and can tell that the dish was AMAZING! Superb flavor and well presented . I will order again 100% ! Thank you!
