Me and my family ate here for lunch today and were served by Mimi, who was fun and helpful the entire time.

Our food was not brought out exceptionally quick, but still good considering how packed they were and once it had arrived, the food tasted amazing and was genuinely fresh and prepared well.
The only 'let down' would be the fact that it was very busy, but really this isn't a large problem in the slightest and so can pretty much just be glossed over considering the service and food

Fox Fest 2026: Only 20 miles away from where I live which is not that bad could of been worse. but the music festival and music was great I managed to do over £40,000 steps and lose 4,000 calories. from just dancing the music was great. I also been to funky dory festival but that was in great Canfield that the same has this. This would have been even more better if their where different stages at the festival and if their where actual tributes bands playing like proper rock music like Kittie band hatebreed band garbage band my chemical romance Linkin park band korn band bullet for a valentine band but it wasn’t abit like blood open air festival in Derbyshire it should have been like that. rather than house music and DJ still doesn’t bother me. No hassle at all it was kinda rocky anyway

Very busy on a Friday night… had to wait for 10-15 mins for a table but it was worth it. Service was friendly and efficient. Food came out quickly and was delicious. We ordered hot meze and mixed grill between 3 of us, which was more than enough. Lamb chops from the mix grill is a must try. Finished with baklava and chai. Turkish red wine was nice as well. Bill was reasonable for the amount we ordered and did not come with service charge pre-added, which I appreciated and tipped accordingly based on the service we felt we received (which was good). Thoroughly recommended.

First time visit today with a party of 8 including 3 children and we will certainly be BACK.

The restaurant looks amazing, absolutely love the decor and look. The place and toilets were spotless and the service from the staff was tip top.

The food was amazing, well priced and great quality. The children had a great time and had fun.

We had booked for afternoon tea for 3pm, as we had not been to Billericay for some years thought we would have a few hours look around shops prior to the booking, found we had finished the look around by 2:10pm. We decided to go to the Flamingo early see if we could go in sit and wait. Met by a young lady very bubbly and friendly, who came from behind the counter to great us explained we were early and asked if we could wait inside. she let us sat us down got our drinks straight away. we waited for about 1/2 an hour no problem as we knew we would have to wait being so early and I said as much. the afternoon tea arrived a nice selection of sandwiches nicely presented, home made sausage rolls that were fantastic along with home made mini Victoria sponges, Brownies and scones with clotted cream and jam. and a plate of fresh grapes. It was all very fresh and very nice. Will be advising friends and family to go. Would recommend to any one.

I went to Oliver’s Italian Sunday afternoon for some lunch. The staff are so amazing and so lovely. The atmosphere and restaurant is just stunning. The food was delicious and it has its own car park which was a bonus. I will be recommending this place to all of my friends and I will be back. A member of staff told me brunches and live music is something they plan for the future so I’m really looking forward to what’s in store.

This Greggs, out of all the Greggs, is easily the best. The hot chocolate and hot drinks are always spot on — they taste great and aren’t scalding hot like some places. The staff are genuinely lovely and never rush or scold you, which makes a big difference.

I’m a regular and they even remember my order, which says a lot about the service. It’s the little things like that that make this Greggs stand out. Always a great experience.

Went to the Inn on the Green on a Wednesday evening with a group of friends for quiz night. We all had the burger and a beer/soft drink deal and all agreed the burgers one great. One of the guys even said it was the best burger he’d eaten in a while, in front of his wife, who said they'd had homemade ones recently, oops. We also had a nice bottle of white wine, which I enjoyed drinking with my chicken burger. Anyway we went for there for the quiz, I was quietly confident we would do well as I had won two weeks in a row with three of my friends. However we only managed to come second to last, due to a reckless answer in the wipe out round. Never mind it’s the taking part that counts, and spending some quality time with friends in a lovely local refurbished pub. Quiz guy was very good, kept the questions going and made sure nobody was on their phone. I would mention his name but I've forgotten it, sorry. Anyway, hoping to go back with my original (winning) group of friends again this week. So if anyone is up to the challenge, grab a mate or a few and come and join us. Quiz starts around 8pm but we got there about 7pm to get some food first. One of us even ordered via an app, from the comfort of their chair, while the rest of us went to the bar. Staff were all friendly and helpful, so I’m happy to do a review for them, just hope we can still get a table if it gets busy.

First time visiting George's fish bar although not the first time we've eaten food from here. Welcomed by a guy called Andy who was very friendly and helpful, an asset to the shop because I will be returning. He greeted everyone as if they were a friend. The food was delicious . I ordered chicken shish which was cooked just right, not dry at all. If only they added grilled onion and pepper to the kebab I would give them a 6 star review.. well done.

We hired Harry’s Bar function room for a 60th birthday party on Sunday.
The room was great; it had its own bar, toilets and outside seating and the staff, who were very helpful,even moved tables & chairs away so we had a dance floor. We decided against a DJ but did our own playlist & played it through their sound system.
We were able to set up at 6.30pm and the party ran from 7.30 -10.30pm.
We had welcome drinks on arrival, which worked well and then chatting dancing and singing all night long.
We had to pay a small deposit and agree a minimum spend on the night.

We have visited the Thai House a couple of times and have always had an excellent meal. The food is fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. It's worth noting group bookings are available, we recently had a group of 40 with exclusive use of the restaurant which makes it perfect for intimate group bookings or private functions. Have to say I don't think I've ever had a disappointing meal from this fine establishment.

Tried them on my journey home once from Essex to central London and have actually moved locally and glad I have as this is our weekly family treat.

Food is top quality and just packed full of flavour credit to the chef for the jalfreizi and tikka masala. Perfect food, perfect service and very reasonably priced in my opinion.

Definitley recommend to all to try them!

I understand that prices have gone up but is it really worth sacrificing the quality? The sauce was literally splitting & the pancake was mainly water. The cod was delicious as was the batter and chips. The batter was light and crunchy all throughout my meal, the back of the batter was cooked as well, no soggy white stuff. The chips were not soaked in oil at all, instead they were expertly cooked. The oil it was all cooked in was really nice and the meal as served was probably the best fish and chips I've ever eaten and at my age that must be thousands lol ?
