We have made the Giggling Squid our go to Sunday Lunch. The Thai Tapas menu is such good value and excellent variety. The service is always efficient and very friendly. Extremely expensive and adding service in the bill was extra to much, as the service was terrible. If I knew I wouldn't of come, when you see the word Generous In the menu listen to my voice in your ear, generous portion in this place means Huge plates microscopic portion.Food tasted nice but honestly not as nice as the £££ price.

We booked this at the last minute on a Tuesday evening thinking that they would not be very busy...we were wrong which is a good and well deserved testament. The food was well prepared and tasty, the service was attentive but not obtrusive. Tbh I found the restaurant to be a bit noisy for my liking, but that was not their fault. I am sure that all the diners would wish the confident and loud young woman sitting at the table behind me well with her work the following day, as we all heard about the trials and tribulations of her job all night!! Be aware that there is a 10% service charge included on the final bill.

Myself, my daughter and two friends had lunch for one of our birthdays. The decor is clean, fresh and very flowery. Perfect for pics! Staff were friendly, and not in your face and very helpful. The food… Wow what can I say! It was up there with some of the tastiest food I’ve ever had! None of us had ever experienced Thai food, but it will definitely be our go to from now on.

Had such a wonderful date night meal here. The cocktails are absolutely delicious!!!We had starters, mains and dessert, everything came quickly and well presented. I ordered the Royal fish curry, unfortunately it came too spicy for me, but the staff quickly assisted and sent it back to chef who remade it less spicy, so I could enjoy. It tasted wonderful! I will definitely return as such fantastic service and atmosphere! Thank you!

Excellent flavours. Truly authentic Thai experience. The salt and pepper squid along with the golden parcels and duck spring rolls made great starters. For mains we mostly had Thai red curry, also tasting the cashew and chicken stir fry and the red/green curry with roti. Loved them all. Dessert was nice too. Service was slick, professional and friendly. We will be back.

Never had a bad experience at this Billericay branch Excellent service very friendly ladies Cocktails and mock tails are amazing We had a tapas lunch this week and it was delicious- Highly recommend the hungry squid Dessert was beautifully presented and tasted great too.

Recently visited with my dad and we had such a lovely experience! The food was delicious and the staff were more than happy to advise on accompanying dishes. Attentive but not overbearing staff and food with insane taste!!! :D

We visit giggling squid restaurants quite regularly. We find their lunchtime menu is better than evening menu. Better value too. The last few occasions though they have not had a few of the dishes available. Mother’s Day evening they ran out of four of the dishes we asked for. The excuse being it’s been a busy couple of days . I don’t find this a reasonable excuse. Poor management. It’s so disappointing when we have been enjoying eating here for years . We asked to take our leftovers home. We were given tubs but had to fill them ourselves at the table. This sadly will be our last visit.

This was exceptional meal out from start to finish. Drinks, starters, meals and sides. Every single part was amazing. They didn't come as small portions either, they provided large portions and we were all very full after.Highly recommend and would go there regularly!Little tiny, tiny sidenote though, we had a table that was very close to the door in this brisk wind, my back faced the door and since it was busy, I got quite cold, my partner had to wear her coat! More a seasonal problem though I guess.
