Staff were nice but didn’t seem to know what they were doing. Fingers and hands all over the coffee glass rim. Three things I asked for they didn’t have. Had to ask for a glass for the bottle of lemonade (which was third choice). Sat outside because we had a dog and to enjoy the sun - in a cloud of staff Vaping in the doorway next to us and smokers the other side. Never returning, plenty of other places in high st that know how to run things properly.

Went with my sister and had the best bagels we have had in Essex. We are from London and our nan used to take us to brick lane as kids I am older now, bagels did not taste the same as nans…….until I went here!!!!! Taste not blandness salt beef full filled bagel and with proper pickles made it worth every penny even a sticky veggie option ! Coffee nice price……well worth it ! I find half filled perhaps cheaper bagels just don't taste right. Staff polite attentive and helpful not bad for an unplanned visit thank you I plan to visit again soon.Vegetarian options: Great Halomi veggi bagleKid-friendliness: Kids welcomed and well behaved

I have stopped here a few times now while out cycling. Love the coffee and the layout is really good as the counter is near the door so I don't have to worry too much about my bike while I grab a coffee. On that note, they could probably try and appeal more to cyclists - maybe a bike rack outside or something like that?
Lovely cafe, great selection of coffees,bagels and milkshakes, ordered 2 lattes and a maltesers milkshake, milkshakes was amazing but unfortunately the lattes were not very hot but would pop back and try again

At 17 I went for a trial shift in which I worked 6/7 unpaid hours on a busy Saturday (which i was unaware was unpaid). After I was then not contacted to allow me to know I didn’t get the job. I heard similar things happened to other people my age , using young people for free shifts on busy Saturday’s.
