First time here. Tried based on a friend's suggestion. We went on a Sunday afternoon.Awesome place to watch sport events and bring kids as well. They have pool, games room, and a football pitch available on bookings. Food was in huge quantity as here the portions are huge. We had a shared plate of nachos and a single portion of french fries with chilli con carne. Everything of great quality.Price acceptable both for food and drinks, and easy parking as well.Highly suggested.

Players Lounge hosted my daughters 10th birthday and we had the best time. The staff are extremely helpful and welcoming. The venue is superb and spotless. Thank you

First time at the Players lounge and enjoy it. We had a nice table with good view of excellent TV. £ 6.50 a pint and nearly a tenner for a large vodka and diet coke. We had a couple of platters. Wings are really small but you get a lot of them. Would rather have less, but meatier ones. A family of 4 spent £ 200 and our 2 boys only had a coke each. Good night but expensive for what it is. Also, there was a lack of bar staff during the 2nd half.

Excellent evening with the fantastic band Expose. This is one of the best clubs in essex catering for a wide taste in music and sports, We also hold our Round Table meetings here.

Booked a table to have dinner and watch Rugby World Cup semi final. The evening was spoilt by lack of staffing, it was impossible to get a drink at the bar. Only 3 staff working behind the bar. The food came out cold, lack of waiting staff. Food sat waiting to be taken to the table. Such a disappointing evening. No management taking control, no apology for the wait and cold food. Please increase you staffing levels.
Booked for myself and 4 children for the Halloween breakfast pancake and film morning. Arrived at 9:25 as we are aware of parking on site and parked and got up the stairs with no issues and in time. Signed in, and was shown to our seat/ ordered drinks promptly. (Told it was a table service) Asked for a highchair for my 1 year old and they didn’t have any, so we made, do, it was fine. It wasn’t full, with 4 empty tables and 2 empty booths plus 4 ground staff. After being seated for 35 Minutes and no server coming over to us, We went up to order. Servers never came over once, other tables getting service and as it was bottomless, we had to keep going up to place Orders.(we was table 10) Waited 50 mins from seating to receive 1st order and had very restless children. We had no apologies and the whole experience was just extremely stressful and unpleasant for the £50+ we spent. Just a Warning to anyone else going with younger children.. don’t get seated at The back, bring Your own highchair if needed also and things to entertain the kids due to long waits. Such a shame as we was really looking forward to it, and have visited before with no issues

When we go it is usually for the entertainment events and they are always an absolute blast!We have been there a few times now and each time the atmosphere is terrific!They have celebrities and others DJing and even when they put on their 80s nights they always put on a good show.Parking: Free parking but make sure you enter your car registration number on the iPad on arrival so you don’t get charged.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair lift from the car park and then everywhere inside is accessible!

So went here yesterday afternoon for their take that experience bottomless brunch. Well it was a nightmare. Not enough staff to serve the tables my friend waited 35 minutes once the bottomless drinks started for her cocktail. After asking several time for her drink they told us they had run out of cranberry juice and somebody had gone to buy some. They did not offer her another drink whilst she waited. The prosecco I was given was the worse tasting one I have ever had. When she did get her cocktail there was no sorry you had to wait. Then the food was meant to be out by 3pm well we got ours at 4pm only to get cold food it was disgusting. They served some food then I saw them delivering other food to other parties going on in there. I asked for my food to be replaced and they did bring a new lot out only for it be thrown down on the table by a grumpy waitress. A lot of people were complaining whilst I was there so it was not just me.
