The White Horse was given as a recommendation for a good local Sunday roast, so we thought we'd try it out when we had some friends visiting. There was six of us in total. We were not disappointed. The portions were huge, it came out piping hot and was delicious. The staff were fantastic too and really friendly. Will definitely be back.Parking: There is a free car park close by. We had two cars and found spaces. Not sure what it would be like on a busy Sunday. Best to get there early to ensure you have time to find a space.

We visit Hatfield Heath fairly regularly, where our daughter lives, so occasionally will pop into The White Horse. The pub is very friendly, welcoming and inclusive. You never feel awkward due to the clientele mostly knowing each other and chatting together, the reason being that you are readily included if you've a mind! Food is exceptionally good, way better than average. If you are in the area, you won't be disappointed if you pop in for a cheeky pint, or bite to eat. Trad pub, sadly a dying breed.

Don’t go. Poor service told my guest drinking coffee she’d bought in the bar “you can’t eat your own food “ she was eating a fruit she bought nearby … I was eating lasagna that had little meat and was over caloried .. I couldn’t finish a half, too much on my plate and staff attitude put me off ..,, Essex my friend said.. typical… if you’re obese it’s a great place.
