“The best cafe in braintree! The menu has so much choice, literally something for everyone and every meal me and my family have had here we have enjoyed. We always meet up to come to Memhas and the staff are always friendly/”

“First time, sunny warm day and a little busy but what a nice place to have snack. But don't choose the carpark as a navigation point. Cyclist use this to park then go on cycling trip along this old train line route. I'd choose the road just south of the cafe only a minute walk to the cafe. We'll worth a visit.Parking: Cyclist leave there cars here before cycling off on the old train line trip, leaving little or no spaces for cafe users.Kid-friendliness: Little play area for kids.Wheelchair accessibility: Cafe is located in part of the old train station accessible from the platform in the firm of a window and seating outside on platform or grass area opposite. Ramp to get to cafe and ordering window about waist height. Then food served to table.”

“Staff were lovely and helpful, offering us tasters of the hot chocolates we were looking at. The white hot chocolate and the mint hot chocolate were absolutely lovely. The hot chocolates they sell are so flavoursome. Good deal of 2 for £12”

“I removed my previous review as I reviewed on my expectations rather than the food on the menu. Have been with a friend this morning for an English breakfast and wasn’t disappointed. The food I had was delicious and plentiful. The young lady serving was as always very pleasant and our food was piping hot. Absolutely delicious and when I’m in Braintree this will be the place I go to. Thank you for another great experience.”

“This is an amazingly efficient and friendly place for a snack or meal when out and about in Braintree Village. As well as the considerable range of pasties and other baked pastries that you see on their web the coffee is excellent. And, getting on a bit in years now, I have tried most of the coffee houses in the area and beyond. If you are rather short of time or don't wish to be away from the shops for too long, I never cease to be amazed at the speed at which the hard working team can clear a line of waiting customers. I am lucky enough to live nearby and able to enjoy a break here fairly often. I highly recommend a vivit.”

“This a great cafe with plenty of choice on the menu. The omelette was so good. There is plenty of seating. There are news papers to read and a radio to listen to.I think it maybe cash only. Clean toilets located at the rear. The staff were welcoming and friendly.I'd definitely recommend this cafe.”

“Staff very friendly and helpful, area clean access good for disabled and wheel chair. Drinks makers on the day could have spent more time making drinks than chit chat between each other. Not to say they cannot talk but on that day it was a bit OTT. But usually very good.”
