Friendly & efficient service. Great Fish & Chips with what I consider to be generous portions. Shared Parking with Tesco so lots of choice with the bonus of being able to pop in at the same to pick something up very quickly while you wait. Although phoning ahead is an option.

Quality of the chinese food has dramatically gone down here. Ordered the set meal for one last night with the large chicken chow mein and had to play hunt the chicken. There was one of the sweet & sour chicken pieces missing. I also asked for a larger sweet and sour sauce, I asked for the sauce to be made thicker and it was just like water. Awful. Lastly the amount of MSG used in the food was over powering. Time to go elsewhere I think!

This used to be my favourite Chinese . Had it last night . The black bean sauce was like water and the sweet and sour sauce is always thick it was like water also . A portion of chips I got about 20 chips . A disgrace

DO NOT GET FOOD FROM HERE. I would put zero stars if I could. You first struggle to order as the staff don’t understand their own menu, then when your food does come it’s wrong and luke warm. The quality of the meat and fish is poor and is so greasy it genuinely makes you feel sick afterwards. When ordering a vegetarian option you would like to think you would get what you ordered but no, here they got my order wrong and I was given a meat option. So was left to eat just chips for dinner. I didn’t bother calling back to complain as this happen again a few months ago and the old lady who is usually in there was volatile straight away and wouldn’t offer me a refund or even to cook me what I originally ordered! Customer service is shocking. There are way better fish and chip shops in Braintree, it’s worth the drive instead of going to this awful, disgusting place.
