I ordered the fish cakes which on the old menu were delicious, it seems that the majority of the fish has now been removed, they are now potato cakes. Served with rather cool new potatoes and wilting vegetables the meal was very disappointing. Staff very nice, delivery of drinks slow. Main issue was the food.

Went to fowlers farm yesterday and had a terrible experience.My partner & I ordered our starters, and after 30 minutes of waiting I was told that my starter is no longer available and would to have to pick another. My starter then came out 10 minutes AFTER my partner had finished her starter.My main course (fillet steak) arrived 40 minutes after this, and upon cutting into the steak realised it was raw (not rare, it was completely raw on the inside). Waitress then asked if I wanted my current steak cooked more or another steak put on. I asked for a new steak to be cooked and was then told it was a 20 minute wait.After 25 minutes of waiting for my main (my partner had finished her main at this point) we just decided to get the bill and leave.Terrible evening. My partner and I had to eat our starters & mains separately (due to what I can only imagine was just very poor timing & service). All of this was reported to the waitresses (who I would assume would’ve passed this onto the manager) but all they did was take my mains off the bill and said that it wasn’t up to their usual standardWill not be going back again

I loved the fact that i can take my dog into the restaurant, there was plenty of space and the décor was really nice. The order your food using the app was a bit confusing so ended up ordering at the bar. its a shame that a person doesn't come to the table to take the orders as sometimes i like to discuss the food options ie gluten free,Dietary restrictions: Not much in the way of help regarding gluten free, sourdough bread for example, sometimes we have it, depends what there is available.

When we arrived amd sat down we were told about 35% of the menu had sold out. It was only 5.30pm. Wait for food was over an hour. Waitress was friendly tho. Food was OK but could have been better in relation to the price.

Great food... Best salad I have ever had, best sea bass, best everything. Really was deficits. Great service from Libby. Lovely room, lovely atmosphereVegetarian options: The salad with halloumi was one of nicest I have ever eaten. My mum had vegetable skewers which looked amazing too.

Stopped by for a glass of wine with a friend. Staff seemed quite rude and off. It's not very welcoming, shame, really, as it's a nice place. Has been recently refurbished. We ordered a little cheese board as well, which was yummy ? don't think I'd rush back to try more on the menu due to the atmosphere.

Food very well presented. Staff pleasant and helpful. I ordered Belly Pork. I accept this particular dish is served with a certain amount of fat however I felt this was an excessive amount of fat. If I had scraped the fat off there would have been very little left.
