Was not happy at all with this meal. I had to keep putting my coat on and off due to been sat by a door the public were using. Absolutely ridiculous. The food was OK. Nothing special. The staff never checked to see if everything was OK. Not once. Not good service at all. When mentioned to the waitress about the door. She said it shouldn't have been used. And they had had a word with the people using it. Then bloody lock it.1st and last visit to this place I think.

Been here many times for food and drinks. The service is always amazing, the staff are friendly and interactive with my 1 year old, they engage well and the service they provide is always spot on. Special shout out to the blonde waitress that remembers our multiple orders perfectly without writing anything down. Impressive!Parking: Loads of parking

A huge pub - I'm told it's a repurposed nightclub - lined with fake antiques to give it atmosphere. Very attentive, cheerful staff and hearty food that on Sunday lunchtime at least arrived suspiciously quick to the table. A nice buzz to the place and apparently the McMullen beer is excellent, but I was driving and had to take my friend's word for it...

Booked a table for 5 for 3rd February which was confirmed by email yet on arrival was told no booking could be found and as they were very busy they would not be able to seat us.After a row they found us a table which was not large enough for a party of 5.then to cap it off my meal was dreadful meat so tough i could have soled my shoes. All in all not a pleasant experience. Will not be going again.

We went for Boxing Day Christmas meal. It was very busy but the staff are lovely.Food wise the prawn cocktail starter was pretty tasteless unfortunately but the beetroot Wellington was beautiful.(Lighting not great for the food photos sorry). The table set up looked pretty but the crackers were a bit of a waste other than looking pretty and a 'bang', most people seemed to not wear the hats and they have no gift inside. Could maybe try something different to the cracker like silly Christmas glasses or something? Or are we as a nation so stuck on the Christmas cracker being part of tradition? In which case you could perhaps put your own prize insert into the cracker with different discount or free drink cards?Atmosphere wise, I love the decor the whole vintage industrial vibe is great. The table we sat on was right next to the kitchen so heard a constant bang of the door opening and closing which I did seem to block out in the end, but maybe a divider partition would work? Alternatively be sure to book at a different.Have been a few times and will go again as it's a lovely place with friendly staff.
