Last Sunday, we decided to try out Wadud’s Fusion for their Sunday à la carte buffet. Despite passing by the restaurant countless times, I was intrigued by the positive reviews and finally decided to give it a try. The meal was absolutely fantastic, with delicious food and exceptionally friendly waiters who ensured everything was just right. I rated the service and ambience an 4 out of 5, and while the ambiance was lovely, it could be enhanced by adding some pictures or decorations on the walls. Additionally, I ordered a liqueur coffee with Cointreau, while my parents in law ordered theirs with brandy. However, I found it a bit odd that they received appropriate glasses for their drinks, while mine was served in a mug. It may seem trivial, but it would be nice if the table was cleared of any food debris before the next main course. Overall, it was a delightful afternoon, and we will definitely be returning in the future

Brilliant lunch with family and friends, honestly couldn’t fault it. Food was amazing with so much choice and very generous portions. Staff were so accommodating and friendly and made us feel so welcome. Will definitely be coming again and recommending to others!

5/5 stars! Highly recommendI visited this restaurant on Wednesday the 13th of March, it was unreal service and even better food! I then came back tonight with different family members and again did not disappoint! I highly recommend this restaurant and Al the Manager is brilliant. I hope this restaurant gets all the support to keep it going. Well done Al and the team.

We placed a large order with Waduds for 16 people while we were on our holiday staying in an airbnb. The service we received was incredible with lot of updates and double checking of our order and clear communication. When we went to collect the order we received fantastic customer service even being offered a beverage while we waited. The food itself was delicious with great flavours and substance. We were a bit wary after Waduds changed its menu but it's obvious that the staff are all hardworking and take pride in what they produce.

We ate out at this restaurant on the 9/3/2024 and our overall impression was nothing short of impressive. The food was delicious and the service provided excellent. The waiters who served were courteous and friendly. In particular praise needs to go to the head waiter called Al. 9 of us visited here for the first time for our daughters 21st birthday. Every one of us enjoyed the food very much, it was all piping hot and delicious. The staff made a great effort to make the evening special. The surroundings are lovely, comfortable chairs and I would thoroughly recommend visiting here.

Had a takeaway from here, chicken chow mein was awful, tasted like a microwave meal. Salt & pepper chicken tempura got 4 pieces for £8.50 and it didn’t taste of anything, shredded chili beef had no sauce with it and the chicken pad Thai was fine but for some reason a ridiculous load of chili flakes were dropped in the corner of the takeaway dish so clearly not prepared before being put in the container which again made us think it was a microwave meal. The vegetable tempura was good but needs a soy sauce dip to be served with it. Delivery was quick and driver was friendly just really disappointing food, there are better places in Braintree.
