Haven't visited in around a year. It's a shame to say the quality of the food has gone downhill while the prices have skyrocketed, I understand we're in a cost of living crisis but come on £30+ for 2 meals & drinks? It's cheaper to order a takeaway from almost anywhere else! The quality of the meat, in particular the sausages was much poorer than it used to be, very obvious they're using cheaper ingredients now despite price rises. Waitresses however were both very pleasant, helpful & welcoming. Interior is also nicely decorated too, although if anything a little bit cramped. Seems they've ditched the table service too as you now have to go to the counter to order & pay before you eat. Save your money & go elsewhere.

Went in for breakfast and now I feel sick. Cheap ingredients used, sausages were more filler than meat, only got 3 mushrooms, snotty eggs. Weak tea with no taste. Over £30 for two breakfasts with two teas. No wonder they now make you pay first when you order. Avoid this place at all costs. I certainly won’t be going back to get scammed again.

Ordered drink and coffee and 2 pieces of lemon cake. Coffee came and I asked for the filthy table to be wiped. No table wiped and no cake arrived. On leaving for I asked for a refund for the cake. Girl put it in a takeaway container. Just got home and only one piece of cake supplied. The cost of a coffee and one piece of cake was £16.50. Dreadful service and unclean. Avoid.

Nice looking cafe. Went in as Mems was shut for the holidays. Walked past Shakespeare's cafes and wish I didn't.£15 for a breakfast and tea. I don't pay that in London so I expected big things. When I got it I clocked the cheap sausages ,the catering ones and immediately knew this wasnt going to be a £15 breakfast. The brown sauce in the packets is disgusting obviously not them making it but it's nasty and no doubt cheap, change them asap.Apart from that it was at least edible. I am not one to waste food so I ate most of it but very very disappointing. I won't come again unfortunately.The waitress was good though.

Was treated like rubbish and told that I should have known the entire menu by the 3rd day I had started working there. I got fired on the 4th day for asking to go home at 2pm which I had been going home at for every day I had previously worked. Carmen got very angry and said I need to grow up and I didn’t understand how businesses work. Bare in mind the reason I asked to go home at 2pm is because that was the only time I would be able to get picked up. I told her I can ask my mum if I can get picked up later and she proceed to tell me ‘no this is non-negotiable, take your money and hopefully you can find a better job. You’re a lovely girl but you need to grow up’. I didn’t know what I had done and tried to help my case but she wasn’t listening and told me to leave. Rude rude rude owners but lovely waitresses/waiter. I do not recommend if you are looking for a job.
