I visited this restaurant for rhe second time. The first time we were approached by who seems like the manager or owner, who has no people skills what so ever. The second time was not much better however we decided to stay and eat. The menu choice was great, the food arrive promptly and hot. The service at the table was average any less they would be just putting the food on the table and not say anything. Its a real shame as the food is as good as what I've had in Soho London, if that could work on their customer service this restaurant could be packed out every day and night. Wgen keeping there was no goodbye, enjoy your weekend, look forward to seeing you both again literally nothing, quite surprising. So overall food is great, customer service needs working on especially from the man in charge.Parking: There is a car park opposite with plenty of space to park and its literally a 3 minute walk to the restaurant, great location for the restaurant.

We've always enjoyed a night at the Eastern Oriental. But last night was a joke.We waited 45 minutes for our starter, and when it arrived, it was not what we had ordered.There were 4 of us having the £23.90 meal. And 1 having an ala carte menu. So we ordered again.So we waited again for another 30 minutes. Only one of the 2 ordervers ordered ever arrived even after we explained that we had ordered 2 of them. the ordervers serve 2 people. There were 4 people having the meal deal.We were with our elderly relatives who are in their nities, so this became tiresome. As they were ready for their meal.Then our daughters' main arrived. Who was not having the meal deal.So she shared her pancakes with her grandparents, as they were hungry and ready to eat.The staff kept walking past, and no one took notice when she tried to get their attention.Eventually, their meal arrived, but it was still another 30 minutes again. We had to wave 5 times to the staff to order some more drinks and food. In the end, we gave up. no one came to clear our plates away. We had to ask for this to be done.There was no dessert menu offered to us either.The waiting service was a complete shambles.When it came to the bill. I asked for the service charge to be removed. The waitress just started to say sarcasticly we'll we should charge your daughter £23.90 because l saw her eating a rib. She never ordered the ribs.Well, her grandparent gave her a rib as she had given him a pancake because he was hungry whilst they were waiting for their food so long.And if she saw that, then why did we have to ask for our order to be corrected on three occasions, And ask for drinks that never arrived.Also, for our table to be cleaned away.She was completely rude. And disrespectful.We all left there, unhappy ?.

Lovely food… BUT…Refused to be allowed to take some leftovers home. This was not an untouched dish but a mixture of food, put together that was left over. Told you cannot take food home, and it will be thrown in the bin. Despite us having already paid for said food.10% service charge automatically added to bill despite terrible service by younger staff. Removing dishes whilst we was eating and even tried to take a plate someone was still eating the last mouthful from.TAX added onto drink?! £22 bottle of wine changes to £24.20, queried and told that’s TAX.Such a shame as food is nice, but the restaurant is a rip off and cons customers.Do not bother attending, save your money and go somewhere else.

After being told food would be ready in 25 minutes, and taking payment. I was then ignored for the next 40 minutes. Total time before food arrived was over an hour from ordering. No appology at all. Restuarant seemd like chaos, Would not ever recomend getting takeaway from this restaurant.
