Came for a birthday in the private room. Food was absolutely amazing along with the drinks. Great atmosphere and lovely time using the karaoke machine. Our server Alice was wonderful the entire night. Overall a great time and would really recommend.

Slug & Lettuce

Leah S provided me with hands down best customer service I’ve ever experienced! With her warm and kind attitude she made my experience extremely enjoyable. Seems like she really takes pride in her work and genuinely cares about the needs of others! Will be visiting again :)

Doci Visi

We had a great time at Doci Visi tonight. Our server Libby was lovely, very attentive and friendly. The other server (we didn't catch his name!) was also great. The food was incredible too! I will definitely come back :)Vegetarian options: We had the ricotta and spinach tortellini, cheesy garlic bread, and olive & bread starter.

Alec's Restaurant

Lovely atmosphere and service yesterday at Alec’s. Food was enjoyable (Soft shell crab to start and Roast Sirloin for main) although not the best i’ve had there, the beef wasn’t great but overall it was a great afternoon here !

Merchant Brentwood

Lucy is wasted in the Merchant. She should be front of house at The Ivy. She’s a good time gal with the sense of humour of a seasoned comic. I miss her greatly.

The Black Horse

Eating in pubs is never my first choice but I visited the Black Horse twice in 10 days. The food is truly excellent! Not the cheapest but you really get what you pay for so a big pat on the back for the kitchen staff - big flavours, perfect portion sizes and 5 star presentation (especially the desserts).Also, the staff are lovely and attentive without being intrusive. For our second visit we were awarded with a 30% discount - four courses and two drinks came to just over £40! I would go out of my way to eat here anytime so well done Vintage Inns for classy & highly recommended gem ? ?

Hutton Fish Bar

Always fresh and so spotlessly clean and definitely the best chipshop in the area staff friendly and always ready to take my order over the phone in a happy manner and the porions compared to fish n chicken down the road are so much better value for

Meat Stop

Was working in the area and found this place after a lot of Google searching. I love a good smash burger so had to try it out. Was greeted by the owner who was very welcoming and helped me work through the menu and pick my order. I was offered to eat in and even offered for me to call my friend in who was eating takeaway in the van from elsewhere. The restaurant looked very clean and nice place to eat just maybe missing some deco to liven it up a bit.Now for the burger, I went for the original nuttah with had great flavours in it the peanut butter and the chilli jam work so well together the burger patties were cooked medium rare as per my request and were good meaty burgers the only downside I found was that the peanut butter was overpowering the patties so I wasn't getting the true flavour of the meat so this is the reason for 4* on the food. Next time I'm in the area I'll be trying one of the less flavoured burgers so I can review the base ingredients a bit better and will update this review according then.Overall this is a great place to eat with a great character running the show. Good quality ingredients and great flavour combinationsEdit - have been back and tried the double trouble this time. This burger showcases the amazing quality fresh ingredients used here better than the original nuttah. The burger had great flavours and is well prepared and layered, the meat used is of a high standard and is cooked to order perfectly. 10/10 for this and now ranking as the 2nd best burger I've had in the UK

Midpoint Cafe Bistro

Midpoint is my favourite place to grab lunch when I wfh. Susie and Daniella are always welcoming and the food is always fresh and delicious. The tuna melt panini is irresistible.

Spread Eagle

On holiday and came upon this pub. Excellent service, amazingly friendly bartenders. However, it was trivia night, so people not playing were continuously shushed by the patrons. It was like drinking in a library. Definitely would go back...just not trivia night.

The Mesken Hutton

We asked Mercy and the team if they would host my husbands celebration of life after his funeral, as we had spent many happy family meals there.They were brilliant and very supportive. On the day, the food was amazing, the staff were so quietly efficient, and they really cared that everyone was happy. Many guests commented how good it was.A huge thank you from me and my family for making the day.

Pizza Express

We came here for our son’s 6th birthday. We all had the best time the manager, waitress and the chef were all brilliant. The kids had the best time here.Thank you Natalia and team we will definitely be back!

Brentwood Kebab

This little tucked away place was such a pleasant surprise. The staff is very friendly, helpful and constantly smiling. We got two plates, the Kofta Kebab and Chicken Doner and the Lamb Kebab and Lamb Doner. Each came with a big selection of salad and Turkish bread. The portions were so massive, we couldn’t finish them and the flavors were spot on and simply delicious. I will go back when in Brentwood and certain recommend to anyone. A must go!

Bongow Indian Cuisine

Our first time visiting Bongow, as we’ve recently moved into the area, with our best friends (who have eaten there and had takeaways a number of times) and we weren’t disappointed! A nice setting, plenty of parking, nice decor and a friendly welcome from Mr Ali. Bottles of Cobra were ice cold and the poppadoms were warm, light and crispy. Mr Ali recommended a special chicken starter for us all to share which was succulent, tender and tasty. For our mains we had 2 king prawn dishes and 2 lots of the lamb chops, accompanied by various breads, rices and sides - all piping hot and a beautiful flavour. The staff were very attentive, friendly and polite - always on top of replenishing our Cobra supply and clearing any empty serving dishes. Considering the dishes that we ordered and the drinks we had, £150 between 4 of us was reasonable in my opinion as the whole dining experience was top notch. Thank you Mr Ali and the team, we had a lovely evening and can’t wait to come back!

The Fat Turk - Brentwood

The food was delicious, lunch time menu had a good selection to choose from. Service was spot on. All the staff where very friendly, polite and helpful. Very stylish and comfortable surroundings. Very clean, toilets spotlessly clean. Highly recommend. And will most definitely be returning there myself..

The Rose Shenfield - Bar & Dining

Have been here a few times for long lunches with family. Food has always been excellent, especially the fish dishes (the sea bass risotto special this weekend was delicious) and it’s a nice relaxed environment for catching up. Service is attentive and friendly but not overbearing. Only slight request would be a few more interesting soft drinks ☺️

Nags Head Brentwood

Large menu with plenty of options, food was fantastic and staff were extremely attentive. Communication during booking process was excellent however initial attempt online was unsuccessful: party was too large for regular booking and too small for group booking, but speaking over the phone and through email resolved all of this. Our table was too close to a radiator wall for my preference, however easily avoidable for next visit. Overall, very much enjoyed our first visit and will certainly be back!

Masons Restaurant

Our favourite place for a meal out in Essex. Wedding anniversary earlier this week and again enjoyed the food and service. We both have allergies and the team really looked after us, clearly understanding allergy risk, which is comforting and much appreciated. Thanks again Masons and see you soon.

The Green Dragon Shenfield

I just wanted to thank the wonderful staff of this pub. My teenage daughter was stranded and went to the pub for some help as her phone had also died. The staff there ( with very special thanks to Ellie) were so very kind to her. They comforted her and organised for her to get home safely. Can not thank them enough. Not only a wonderful pub but caring and brilliant staff who go above and beyond their duties. A total credit to our community!

I'm only here for 4 days but this place was recommended.......and they were not wrong! The restaurant is in immaculate condition, the staff are just bloody great, and the food? Well I had my usual chicken Dhansak and I am a pretty critical customer, living in Spain and finding just one Indian restaurant that I like after trying over a dozen!! But THIS PLACE NAILS IT! The food is exquisite! Try any positive adjective you like! This place should be heaving all night. If you like authentic Indian food, you'd be totally off your head not trying Juboraj! 100% recommended.Parking: Lots

Went with my Wife and two kids (5&2), kids had a cookie and a hot chocolate, I had a medium latte!The latte was easily one of the best coffees ive had in Brentwood! Very nice indeed. Daughter basically drank her hot chocolate in one go!Very friendly staff and would certainly go again!

H&H Kebabs and Burgers

What a fantastic place! I was staying near Brentwood with my husband and we both really fancied a kebab. Visited this great takeaway “The oldest” in the town. Big thanks to Oz who served me. A really friendly lad who definitely knows his “food”! The Lamb doner kebab was the biggest thing on the planet and my husband was so chuffed it was really tasty and with a good salad too! My lamb kofte was again bigger that expected and delicious! Oz was very kind in giving us forks and napkins as he knew we were staying in a local hotel. Definitely really good value and with exceptional service. Give them a go! Pics don’t do it justice!!!

Great chippy with some unusual items on menu. Some good lunchtime and OAP deals which negate the high cost of fish and chips these days. Can get busy especially early evenings, closes at 10pm.Parking: Approximately 10 spaces serving several shops in parade.

It would be five if the delivery was quicker but the food itself is a 5/5 I would say the best Chinese I’ve had so far. The best food I ordered that are worth ordering again is the pancake rolls, prawn toast and sweet and sour chicken balls. I would definitely recommend and will order from again!
