Really disappointed with the experience at Figo - a place I’ve been looking forward to trying for some time. Given a star for decor and a star for drinks as the house red and pint of Peroni were nice.It pretty much boils down to it being massively overpriced (avg £25-£30 per main) For these prices I expect above average food and good service, none of which were received.Food - was just okay all round with issues with salad. Kids lasagne tasty but 9 quid for a small portion of lasagne on its own is a bit of liberty. Breaded Chicken and spaghetti tasty enough but once again over priced, average skinny fries not fat chips as expected, bread basket nice warm fresh bread, chicken Caesar salad not nice - chicken was dry and tasted off, way too much dressing which wasn’t tasty.Service - The place was pretty empty only three tables yet staff were not attentive (pleasant enough) but when there is clearly not much to do the least I expect is the basics “how is your meal” “would you like more drinks” “any sauces, salt pepper” all of which I had to go out of my way to ask for. We see our drinks just sat on the bar for 5 minutes while staff including manager chat away with them right in front of them , not calling anyone over to send them.I did raise a couple of these issues with the manager. The salad was taken off the bill. £88 for 1 chicken main, 2 sides of skinny fries, a single kids portion of lasagne, bread, 2 pints and 2 house red wines.Only leave negative reviews when I’m exceptionally disappointed. May have been just a bad night but such a shame for such a nice looking place. Not returning and do not recommend.

Great ambience on a busy Friday night. Food is nice but once of my friends starters came out cold in the middle. Also a little overpriced in my opinion. The staff were amazing, very friendly and attentive.

Food was good although I thought a tiny bit on the pricey side. Went there for Sunday lunch arrived at 1:30pm. The place was completely empty not a single customer until after about 30 mins when another small group came in. It was a game as there was no atmosphere there so would probably avoid going there for Sunday lunch but I’d imagine the evenings it would be a nice place to go

I took my class to Figo in Brentwood for lunch. Firstly I emailed Figo and explained that I work in a school for students with Speech, Language and Communication difficulties and we wanted to give our students opportunities to go to a nice restaurant were they could practice life skills. Murat (the manager) went out of his way to ensure that he could accommodate our students. He created a simplified set menu at a great price. All the staff were very kind and patient with our students. Thankyou so much for your kindness and hospitality we all had an amazing time and the food and service was amazing.

We enjoyed a really lovely Friday evening at Figo recently. There were 4 of us. Table was great, cocktails were lovely, fabulous food. Special shout out to Fran our waitress who was so welcoming, friendly and attentive. Will definitely be returning.
Lovely Italian restaurant, great vibe, decor and quality food to go with it. Food was very good and portions were good size. However, I found it to be very expensive overall.

This is our first time visiting Figo, having to come to Essex for the day. The food was delicious and dessert menu to die for! We were served by Melele who provided a great service. We will definitely come again!

We went here on a Saturday evening as a walk in. From the start the service was on point, friendly and attentive, but not on your face. Food was excellent, especially the pork. We enjoyed the music in the background but was not overbearing and there was sufficient space between tables. We would visit again, well worth it. X
