Always seem To be waiting longer than the anticipated time for a burger to be cooked. Staff aren't very polite and tonight asked for a burger and they completely forgot about the burger and stood around grinning like a Cheshire catThe rest only bothered with the fish. Absolutely unacceptable for the staff not to hear that a burger was required within the order. It seems incompetence of the staff seems to be the order

The food is lovely but the portion size of the chips is shocking. Never have I ever seen a large portion of chips so small, it’s enough for one adult, not two. This is the only thing that lets this place down, which is a shame as I have no complaint with the quality of the food or service but the chips portion is not value for money.

Great chippy with some unusual items on menu. Some good lunchtime and OAP deals which negate the high cost of fish and chips these days. Can get busy especially early evenings, closes at 10pm.Parking: Approximately 10 spaces serving several shops in parade.

We stumbled upon this branch of Fishn Chickn in Hutton whilst visiting our family and I can honestly say my Wife and I were amazed that places like this still exist. A nice clean looking shop, with happy and helpful staff. A nice variety of food to choose from and all expertly cooked.I would struggle to suggest better than this.A must if passing and many other branches if not.

There are a few reviews now regarding portion sizes and pricing. Though the manager does a good job replying to all reviews the owner must be careful the replies are not seen as insincere (lies). Because 4 months ago a reply said they would "investigate" the complaint yet my photo shows a Regular portion of chips is still smaller in size than... a forkand a Medium Cod of £8.60 is the same size as a fork.Energy costs have increased but potatoes are still grown in our country. If you want to make profits, keep the Mid-sized cod priced at near £10 but be generous with lower cost chips.Currently this Fish n' Chick'n shop offers far too little value for money at this cost of living time. We have been to other fish n chip shops with bigger portions at lower cost.Please no more investigating.. time to show you are listening to your customers.

Bought a large portion of chips for £4.45 and because it was a takeaway we got done with a regular size ? I know times are hard but maybe it’s because their competitor in Shenfield has gone out of business and they can do this because there’s no choice. Disappointed
