Large menu with plenty of options, food was fantastic and staff were extremely attentive. Communication during booking process was excellent however initial attempt online was unsuccessful: party was too large for regular booking and too small for group booking, but speaking over the phone and through email resolved all of this. Our table was too close to a radiator wall for my preference, however easily avoidable for next visit. Overall, very much enjoyed our first visit and will certainly be back!

Went with my friend fir a birthday meal after 30 minutes of waiting, had to get up to chase someone to take our order my friend had prosecco which came up as half full we waited another 20 minutes for our main I had prawn and crab linguine which s hould have had scallops added at an extra cost ( no scallops) the meal wasn't very nice so I left most of it. The manager asked if I wanted to take the rest home without enquiring if it was OK.We then chanced ordering a dessert for me and a latte for my friend. She received the latte but after a further 20 minutes we paid the bill asking them to remove the dessert!We never got asked if we were OK, meal ok or any more drinks.We could see other tables also complaining. Would not go back. Got pie and chips on my way home

Popped in for a few drinks on a Monday with friends. Was met by Ruth at the desk and shown to a table as we hadn’t booked. She took our drinks order and made us feel very welcome. She then proceeded to pour our drinks behind the bar while the other lady was busy doing something on her phone. I have to say, the guiness that Ruth poured and served me was without doubt one of the best guiness’ I have ever had. Will be returning soon and try the food but definitely worth the cost just for Ruth’s guiness !!!
