Great family run restaurant, food is always amazing. Service excellent really can't fault it. Staff are so helpful and friendly. And they do amazing Sunday roast!

It was a pricy Sunday lunch lunch. Been to many of her places for the same price but the quality of food was much better. It lacked care, effort and attention to detail.We had prawns in garlic and a spring roll with h a sweet chilli sauce. The he prawns lacked any imagination and weren’t great quality. The spring rolls were from frozen and a squeezed sweet chilli sauce. No effort for the price. Beef and Yorkshire good but veg boring: Gravy not home made or will h any care or effort. Service slick and goodTop dollar for average fare and would not recommend. White Heart at Margaretting Tye now much better and make more effort with h the food

Visited today for my Nephews 30th Birthday and I was very impressed. The food was excellent, good value for money and the young lady serving us was extremely attentive and professional. I don’t live in Essex but I would definitely visit again if I did.

We went to the Plough on Sunday 4th February as a group of 5 people to celebrate my mother in laws birthday and it was wonderful.Everything about the restaurant, the staff and the food were excellent.The new decor is beautiful and we look forward to returning in the near future with family and friends.

This place has been transformed. Welcoming, friendly and professional staff. Perfectly mixed cocktails, great & tasty food. Warm and relaxing atmosphere. We’re so pleased we’ve rediscovered this place. In fact we went twice in one week. One of my new favourite local places to eat
