“Although very busy we were seated promptly to our booked table.Order was reasonably taken and served within an acceptable time.Ambience was good.Tables were placed in good positions as they weren’t too near the next group of guests.Food was of a high standard and we all had staked. However, bearing in mind our table was booked early in the evening it was very disappointing to find that two of our part were not able to have their first choice of steak as my husband and I had ordered the last two. They had to have the second choice on the menu. But, we all still enjoyed our meal. How could this happen so early in the evening? Stock needs to be reviewed knowing how popular steaks are ordered.We would visit again.Parking: Plenty of parking at time of our visit- 7pm. However, I feel it could benefit by added some more lighting. At the time of our visit it was raining and there were several large puddles about. You don’t want this when getting out of your car with ladies who may have open shoes or suede boots as I did. Could you have a look at this please.”

“Called in as in the area - so glad we did, needed a table for 6 was no problem on Sunday afternoon. Really good pub food, chicken curry was especially good. So tasty we all had desserts. Will definitely be back.”
