As usual, very good food and atmosphere. Service is friendly and our waitress remembered my wife not eating on a previous visit and was concerned for her. Nice touch.Parking: Parking can be tricky sometimes due to large cars parking poorly.

Very busy cafe, so it was a little bit noisy for a good chat. But service was quick, staff were friendly and polite. Food was amazing.

Lunch starts at 11:30, and breakfast stops that time.Very popular on Saturday, had no indoor seating, so say on the tented area, with our bikes. Did get cold.Toilets are basic and outdoors.Prices higher than usual, but good does arrive together.Hot drinks were lukewarm, not good when seated in a cool area.

So disappointing. Cold coffees and terrible, slow service. The breakfast wraps were over powered with cheese. The bacon was barely cooked despite asking for it to be well done.

My partner and I went here for the first time today for lunch and frankly it was quite dissapointing. I ordered a hot chocolate and a sweet chilli chicken wrap which was freezing cold chicken with the wrap itself being warm meaning the chicken was probably just taken out of the fridge and placed on a wrap that was warmed, which was really dissapointing and I had to ask for it be warmed up. The hot chocolate was good and cant complain about that. My partner got a brie and sundried tomatoe and pesto panini which was really good, the sandwich tasted amazing and clearly it had quqlity ingredients. Unfortunately thr cappucino served to my parnet was probably one of the worst ive tasted, not only did it tasted watery but the beans were clearly burned, the lady doing them seemed really young so perhaps she was inexperienced, paying £3 for this type of cappucino is a rip off though. The service was not great, it was busy inside however it took 15 minutes to get our tap waters that were left waiting in the bar for someone to pick up. The lady that took our orders didnt even let us finish ordering as we wanted to order a milkshake aswell and she just rushed off our table when we had just mentioned our food. Once we caught up to her again and asked for a milkshake she said they were no longer doing it cause it was too busy and took too long to do.... thats the first time ive heard someoje refusing to sell a product they have in stock... when she came back with the cutlery she also chucked it on our table, not placed or put it next to us, she chucked it... all in all theres potential in terms of food, they need some tweeks on some of there products though, the service needs massive training in all sorts of ways as there was massive disorganisation and they seemed like headless chickens (forgot to add someone came to take our order after another waitress had already taken it which shows the level of disorganisation). Not sure if I would return but with the right training perhaps this could improve for future customers.

The food has always been lovely at the Barnyard Cafe, and the staff are friendly and polite. Highly recommend a visit - even though I selfishly don't want it to get too popular!!It has a lovely relaxed country cafe atmosphere. Perfect for mums after the school drop off, or for an informal business meeting. If you go, it is worth then going to the farm shop (Calcott Hall Farm) as you can find some fresh fruit and veg, our favourite butcher, a good cheese counter and a fresh fish counter.

This is the perfect place for breakfast. Great choice of food which is always hot and flavoursome. Really good coffee too. Plus its right next door to a fabulous farm shop. Win/

My wife and I discovered this place earlier in the year, and what a little treasure it truly is! Next door to Calcott Hall Farm Shop, it's a typical small countryside cafe. The food is excellent and in my opinion reasonably priced considering the outstanding quality of the food that they produce. The food varies from Jacket Potatoes to Sandwiches, various teas & coffees & gorgeous hot chocolate! Add to that, excellent & very friendly staff. This has now become our fave place to go to for lunch.
