Best Indian food I've had in London by far, served by Haveli Indian Kitchen. I would highly recommend the paneer manchurian, keema fries, dynamite prawns and maru bhajia. Prices are reasonable too and the manchurian sauce was unique. I would high recommend Haveli for Indian food at the Hutton Junction.

I had BBQ chicken wings for starters. First class. Excellent. For mains, I ventured into the chicken curry, which was hot. It was slightly too hot for me, but I did not take up the offer of yoghurt to extinguish the heat. I soldiered on and finished it. The beer was good. I tried "The Hutton." Quite enjoyable pint.

I left my bag there and y’man with the glasses said I’m grand to collect it 10/11. Please keep it safe - thanks a million

Excellent staff, drink options, food choices and I always feel so welcomed every time I visit The Hutton Junction. Great food and fast turn around with lovely service from the staff. I would recommend to all for a lovely after work wind down, especially for the city folk. Only a 3 minute walk from Shenfield Station, so good for groups, meet ups, sport fans and family get togethers. Already looking forward to the next time I visit. Seating inside and out, with a smoking area and covered outside seating with heaters.

A quick lunch with a friend last week and turns out the Haveli restaurant is not open til 5. We were looking forward to a curry and the gent behind the bar offered to organise the indian food and serve it at the bar...top man!Food was lovely...cannot deny that it had that authentic taste and know that it was cooked with passion and love. We had the Samosa chat to start with and shared a chicken curry...both were very tasty and moorish. Also did a takeaway of a manchurian paneer and another samosa chat....loved them both. Only criticism is price. Seems slightly overpriced and for the takeaway, portion size could be larger. Its definitely worth a visit if you like tasty, authentic indian food and want to veer away from the standard curry houses. I'll be taking my wife back there in the evening to sample the restaurant atmosphere.Parking: A small number of parking spaces onsite, but if they are booked, only other option is the station car park and costs are reasonable.

Really don't know what's happened to their menu but so disappointed tonight. Their food used to be so nice and would spend money on a 3 course but tonight being served with what I can describe as frozen fish and chips from the freezer for £15 absolute joke and rip off. Can't fault the staff

Local pub 2 minutes walk from station. Been under new ownership for a couple of years and pub food is now an Indian dining on-site. Very good selection of beers and real ales, normally 4 different hand pulls and 6 lagers including Taylors Landlord and Tribute, Madri and Cruzcampo on last visit. Not the cheapest but where is in Shenfield? Ideal for pint on way home and to meet friends...Parking: Parking for around 10 cars max in pub car park. Usually can find a spot.Kid-friendliness: OK to bring the kids for a meal....Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level but main bar tight and compact.

One the last traditional pubs in the area. Good choice of beers and excellent indoor or outdoor seating.

Was excited to try this restaurant after seeing good reviews but I’m disappointed with it. Debated leaving a review but after a day to think about it decided they need to learn and I wouldn’t want someone to experience what I did. Service was spotty, slow and rude, when we tried to order refills for drinks he would take one drink order and rush off before anyone else could order. Food was ok but pretty one note, there wasn’t much variation in flavours or excitement (but could have just picked wrong so this review is mostly about the service). Food was slow to arrive and then as we finished, the waiter said ‘you want the bill’ (barely a question) so we said we wanted dessert but instead of giving us a second to discuss as a group or have a minute to digest he waited at the table while we ordered even though I know we must have been visibly flustered. They then didn’t clear the table and quickly bought the dessert (still haven’t cleared the table. We had to pile our own plates to clear some space to eat dessert). Very quickly after finishing they bought the bill, and then waited at the table with the card reader while we calculated how much it was each (we were a group of 5). Normally I like when they give you the bill and leave you alone for a minute or 2 to check it over and calculate what we each owed, because he didn’t do this I felt rushed and didn’t notice they had bought the wrong bill (it seemed roughly accurate and I was pretty tired). I did note they added 10% service automatically, which is another annoyance I would have queried if I hadn’t felt so flustered. We paid, he left, we continued to sit and chat while we finished the drinks we hadn’t been able to finish as they tried to rush us out. Then, another waiter comes over and says don’t leave, there is a problem with your bill, very rudely with no explanation. They come back with an additional bill and tell us that we paid a different tables bill and we owe more, which they had calculated the amount for each of us, and demanded we pay without giving me the correct receipt at first or giving us a minute to check the amount ourselves. As I write this I’m more and more annoyed at myself as I was the one that recommended it to the group and I wish I hadn’t. Such a disappointment and I won’t ever recommend it to anyone else.Note, we were also supposed to get 10% off as I booked with a promo leaflet they put through the door but in the rush and panic I didn’t get to confirm it had been taken off. Also, there’s no parking anymore.

Traditional pub, close to station with good clientele and friendly staff. Very nice indeed.
