DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE A VEGETARIAN!!! The only vegetarian option they had on the menu for lunch was a salad. When we asked the staff if it was possible to replace the meat in the sandwiches/wraps with cheese we were made to feel like we were being awkward and offensive to the chef. I’ve never been somewhere so unaccommodating and rude to vegetarians. Shockingly enough a salad on a rainy day in February wasn’t exactly appealing. I will not be returning or recommending this restaurant to anyone.

Have been here a few times for long lunches with family. Food has always been excellent, especially the fish dishes (the sea bass risotto special this weekend was delicious) and it’s a nice relaxed environment for catching up. Service is attentive and friendly but not overbearing. Only slight request would be a few more interesting soft drinks ☺️

What a gem of a pub / restaurant, the staff are so friendly, the restaurant area is beautiful with a great atmosphere and the food is delicious. We were here for a lovely three course Christmas dinner just a few days before Christmas and it was definitely the best pub Xmas dinner we have had this year. Thank you.

Had an amazing date lunch here with my husband. Food was very good. I had an avocado salad to start and there were so many flavours in it I could have just ate a bowl of that! Mushroom Linguini for mains and equally tasty. Husband had mushrooms for starters and the steak for mains, best he had had in a while he said. Dessert was a chocolate melting brownie. Well actually it was my husband’s, but so glad I requested an extra spoon, so light but so chocolatey! Service was perfect, everyone so attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back very soon!

A lovely old pub. The food was amazing, I chose from the Christmas menu, £40 for 3 courses. I was full to the brim after. The staff are brilliant, we weren't rushed and spent the whole evening there. I would recommend booking as it was busy. Will definitely be back.
