I came in on Monday 21 October 2023, in the evening into your Hornchurch shop, I was served by a black girl with glasses and orangey shade hair, who I now know to be Sarah. I ordered a crepe with white chocolate and strawberries and a Halloween cookie dough. While ordering, Sarah asked me for the pricing, and appeared lost, to be honest I should have just walked out then. I told her I don’t know the pricing? So she charged me £17.80 for one crepe and a cookie dough. When I got back into my car I opened up the crepe to look at it as the box was tiny and not in a standard box that crepes normally come in, I was extremely shocked to see that my crepe was tiny, had ONE very small strawberry oddly cut up, a tiny drizzle of some sort of clear liquid that was definitely not white chocolate and it was in the smallest box, completely not whats advertised on social media. I went back into the shop and requested a refund as even a 5 year old could do a better crepe than that. Sarah told me I would be given a full refund via bank transfer. She wrote down my bank details in a note pad and told me it’ll be refunding straight away and that it would be a FULL refund. So it’s now a month later 21st November that I’m writing this, I’ve called both Hornchurch and Brentwood shops, been promised refunds, still to this day, I’ve not received this. I’ve had an employee call me from Hornchurch shop twice on one of the days to say Sarah has lost the bank details I gave her (shock), and that she needs to take them down again. The called later on, told she doesn’t know where she wrote down my details and if I could provide them again. Essentially, the shop is run by kids who are 16/17 years old, left UNSUPERVISED BY AN ADULT. Writing down people’s bank details in their note pads, no actual procedure. When you call up, they speak to you as though you’re one of their class mates. It makes me question the hygiene in this place, I’ll be in touch with licensing. It’s a month down the line, I’ve requested on multiple occasions for a manager to call me, this has not happened. I’ve requested a refund, despite being told it would be a full refund, this has not happened and I’ve been told it won’t be a full refund now because the inedible freezing cold cookie though that was thrown away in the car park behind the shop, wasn’t returned to them. I’ve also been told I was OVERCHARGED for everything as Sarah doesn’t know the pricing, despite it being on the wall next to her. Myself and my partner ended up going to Urban Chocolatier that night instead where we paid less than what we got charged here for 2 crepes, and drinks and had amazing service, so much more value for money! Would advise everyone to go else where, instead of being scammed by kids. Hopefully a manager actually calls me after this review, and maybe I’ll get a refund? Who knows.

Huge shout out (and apology) to Will, who organised a personalised, amd (so sorry ) cringey message to my boyfriend on our anniversary. He was literally an amazing sport and my partner was over the moon with his waffle (bueno ?? ? ) and his little messageI absolutely didn’t get a chance to try it, bit I have a very happy boyfriendTHANK YOU WILL!!!

terribly rude staff. Prices are not clear and they are not nice either. Good flavor but they need to think twice and change quickly the people they are in there as son as possible. Bad experience.

Didn't even get to try. So, so slow. Menu is handwritten with pen and pencil. Dirty behind counter, milkshakes next to a cleaning bucket. Left after waiting to be asked what we want to order for roughly 10mins.

Although the milkshakes were pretty nice the place inside was filthy. It looked shut from the outside, the walls were peeling inside and the floors were covered in mud, wrappers, chewing gum/food and a pile of rubbish gathered near the bin. Another lady laughed at the hygiene rating poster and said it would get shut down if they had an inspector show up.The staff just said "the kids had been in here earlier" (not sure what that meant at 8pm on a Friday)

ordered something through the Deliveroo app at 10:00 pm gave me an estimation waiting time of 1 h , after about 1 h and 30 minutes at 11:30 pm canceled my order with out any excuse , it’s a joke clearly they could have not been asked to prep anything and used the excuse of closure to cancel all order , absolutely disgusting hole family was waiting for the food and it got to a point where after nearly 2 h of waiting nothing else can be order because everywhere is closed.
Genuinely baffled. Came to Brentwood with my family for a mini dessert celebration... dirty, peeling wallpaper, loud music, graffiti on the table, broken furniture, no printed menus... not a place we'll ever be going to again! Ended up buying our own make your own sundae ingredients and had fun at home instead!

I've visited before and have had a milkshakes and smoothies which were lovely so decided to see what their desserts were like.I ordered a delivery of a Bueno Dream and a Dream Indulgence via UberEats. They were delivered within a reasonable amount of time and were still quite warm.They were both delicious but way too sweet and would have been better with an option of ice cream.Although the Bueno Dream doesn't look appetising, more like someone spilt an ashtray on top, lol, it was tasty, my daughter enjoyed it.I will stick to the milkshakes/smoothies and I'm sure those who have a sweet tooth will enjoy the desserts.

I have ordered from here a few times, 2 of them have been pretty good. But the order I just received was awful. I ordered a bueno waffle and a make you own chocolate Oreo one. I instead received 2 waffles with watered down icing sugar glazed over them with 2 whole oreos just chucked ontop! The chocolate sauce was no where insight. Terrible and has put me off ever ordering from here again.
