We had an excellent evening celebrating my husbands 80th Birthday. From the moment we arrived to leaving the restaurant we all had a great time. We were aged from 16 to 80 , our waiters engaged with us all. It was an exceptional evening where everyone enjoyed their food, the atmosphere and the attention by the waiters! Thank you do much for a lovely time.

We were treated to a Blue Strawberry gift voucher for our anniversary. Went on Saturday and had such a lovely meal. Had drinks on the terrace first - wow the Pornstar Martinis were soooo good! Our meals were lovely no complaints at all. The mixed grill was huge and I couldn’t eat it all but hubby helped me out. The staff were all amazing and so helpful. Our first visit but will definitely not be our last. Thank you for a lovely anniversary meal

A lovely evening for my Sons 18th Birthday celebration with family. We were all looked after so well. Food and service superb. A few more veggie options would have been good as only one hot dish was limiting, but they happily allowed starters as mains and sides to make up mains to accommodate. Deserts were yummy, great selection of drinks, loving the local wine options too. Many Thanks

Booked this restaurant as a treat for my wife's birthday. The food was delicious, the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and the staff were very attentive and welcoming. We'd like to say a special thank you to Martin who went the extra mile to make it a lovely experience. We will definitely be returning!

We finally ate here for a birthday lunch back in October, having been meaning to eat here for several years... We had the pork belly, the liver and parma ham, fish pie and the child's sausage and chips followed by mars torte, coconut and lime cheesecake, child's brownie and a small carrot cake. The salt free crackling on the pork wasn't particularly tasty, but the fish pie was good and the liver was very good. The desserts were decent, but nothing special.

An absolute delight Everything was absolutely perfect from the food to the decor to the service to the menu The food was unbelievably good - one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time I can’t wait to go back!

Managed to get some free time from Grandparent duties to treat ourselves to a celebratory lunch, albeit a few days after the event. We had visited here a few times before and on our return from the Marks Tay dentist we had booked here again. Greeted and seated nicely to a table in the main restaurant. Great menu including specials so we took a while choosing. Finally selecting the fish platter to share as a starter. Delicious Salmon and Prawns. For mains my wife had the dressed Crab and really enjoyed it. My Red Snapper was superb. We probably shouldn’t have had the puddings as we had eaten a lot. But a Cheesecake for my wife and a chocolate and orange pudding with custard hit the spot. Very good service and food. A good celebration.

A lovely restaurant with fabulous service for my Dad's 80th Birthday lunch. Really fresh tasty food, and a little extra surprise for the Birthday boy! Would always recommend the Blue Strawberry for a special occasion!

Literally nothing to fault about The Blue Strawberry! We came as a group of 6, which included a celiac child and a fussy veggie. They were so adaptable to slightly altering certain meals on the menu to cater. We all agreed that it was by far the best food that we had eaten for a long time, I highly recommend!!! The extra birthday treat that they had caught on to was a lovely extra bonus. The staff were amazing which made the whole experience a special one! Thank you! ?

Went for a birthday celebration on Sunday. Had a nice private area downstairs. Food plentiful and loads of it. Skate was superb, I was too full up for sweet, but a couple of our party shared some, again they were lovely.Won't we leaving it too long before we go again. Staff helpful and unobtrusive. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for, well worth it. Keep it up.Parking: 8-12 parking places, but only if you arrive early.

This was our first visit to the Blue Strawberry and we were hugely impressed! We had booked in for a family dinner with our toddler and baby in tow. We were seated in the private library room, which was just perfect -- charming, spacious, quiet and comfortable. Our server was fantastic -- she couldn't do enough for us or our kids. She was friendly, attentive and thoughtful, even setting a place at the table for my daughter's panda (which was a big hit). The personal touches continued when the owner stopped by to welcome and chat with us. We were so impressed by this and him. It just goes to show how friendly and welcoming everyone at the Blue Strawberry is. We felt like valued customers. The food was *divine*, the drinks were delicious, and the menu choices were extensive, with both the regular menu and specials to choose from. Overall, this is a fantastic restaurant and certainly the best we've been to in a long time. In addition to the amazing food, we really appreciated the attention to detail and outstanding customer service. We can't wait to return; and we can't recommend the Blue Strawberry more highly!

Food is absolutely amazing, products used are of a quality standard and cooked to perfection. We've visited the Blue Strawberry on several occasions and its been of a consistently high standard every time. Whilst its not cheap, the prices are reasonable given the quality. A tip though, book a couple of weeks in advance as its a very popular restaurant.Vegetarian options: There are lovely vegetarian options available.Parking: Although there is a free car park at the premises, spaces are limited, but as a courtesy you can also park in the pub car park a few yards up the road, so shouldn't be a problem.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp into the restaurant and downstairs wheelchair accessible toilet.Dietary restrictions: Will cater for dietry restrictions at request, but prefer to know in advance so they can properly prepare.
