Amazing service, amazing food and super lovely staff.We moved into our new flat yesterday and was given a slightly wrong address by the agency, so our food ended up being delivered to the wrong address! Annoyingly, the other residents happily took the free food without question (who could blame them but seriously? There’s a special place waiting for youWe called the restaurant and they swiftly sorted the issue, and I picked up the second order of food directly from the restaurant to avoid any issues with delivery. The staff were very apologetic about the issue we had and instead of charging us the full amount again, we paid a highly discounted rate which was extremely kind of them as most restaurants would charge you again or refuse altogether, especially how late the food had to be remade.Overall the food was absolutely delicious and definitely the best takeaway my partner and I have ever experienced. The staff were lovely, kind and helpful throughout the whole ordeal and we will definitely be solely ordering from this restaurant in the future. 10/10 and highly recommend! Thank you team!

This afternoon was the first time I had been to Turquoise Kitchen in Chelmsford, and I will most definitely return. All of the food was delicious and at the table in no time at all. The resraurant itself has such a calm and inviting atmosphere throughout. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble, especially for Oljay who was incredibly attentive. Would highly recommend you book a table and support the service Oljay and his team are providing. Thanks for a great experience.

However, what truly elevated the evening was the unparalleled service provided by the remarkable staff. From the moment I walked in, their warmth and professionalism made me feel like a valued guest. With attention to detail evident in every aspect of the experience, dining at Vita Bella was an unforgettable delight. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking an extraordinary culinary journey. Had a fabulous Mother’s Day treat at Olio on the Green! Absolutely love this restaurant! It was a set menu but still had great options. The sea bass was amazing as always, as were the sardines. The best bit though are the wonderful staff who go out of their way to give you the warmest welcome which they have done each time we’ve eaten there. Service was excellent, we had drinks when we needed them and the food just right, not rushed but not left waiting. We look forward to visiting in the better weather to sit outside and watch the ducks on The Green ?. Highly recommend this beautiful restaurant ☺️

Been wanting to try this place since they moved from the industrial estate. So when in town wondering where do go for lunch we thought we'd give it a go.The whole place is very nicely decorated throughout, very clean, seriously comfy seats and a very pleasant toilet.Prices are very reasonable and the food was great.We had the Pappardelle con Cozze e Fagioli and Spaghetti Amatriciana which were both great but the highlight was the Pistachio Tiramisu... Wow. I could forgo the starter and main and just have 3 or 4 of those ?I'd imagine with the quality of food and the reasonable pricing, evenings get very busy very quickly.Our only negative and it is only a small one is that while my wife was still eating, the waitress came and took my plate away. (some people I'm sure are OK with this but you really should wait until everyone's finished eating)We'll definitely be back to try the evening service soon.

Lovey setting and very pleasant inside, although in places the decor could do with a bit of tlc. Staff are on the ball, attentive but not intrusive. Food was largely excellent, very fresh and hot and seasoned to perfection. The wife's steak was a little tough but not enough to ruin the meal. Some evenings they have "Specials" which sound appealing. Price wise it's on par with most, plus it's part of the "Chef and Brewer" chain so the menu can be found everywhere. All in all, a pleasant experience.Update... Return visit, still just as good.Parking: Large car park, plenty of spaces. Sunday lunch time is the busiest time but still shouldn't be a problem parking.

However, my recent visit on Saturday, March 30th, left me with a nagging concern that the restaurant may be veering off course.Let me preface this by saying that the food quality and service remain impeccable, and the overall atmosphere is as inviting as ever. My qualms lie solely with the recent pricing adjustments, which, in my opinion, risk alienating a significant portion of their clientele.The most glaring example is the Chicken Biryani, now priced at just under £20. While this dish has always been a standout, such a steep price tag for a relatively simple offering seems excessive, even in the context of London's dining scene.Similarly, the Chicken Masala Buna, a staple of the menu, now hovers around £19, pushing the boundaries of what most would consider reasonable for a classic curry dish.But perhaps the most egregious offense is the starting price for a bottle of white wine, which now stands at an eye-watering £29. This pricing strategy seems to be at odds with Packwaancasual, accessible vibe and risks pricing out a significant portion of their customer base.While I understand the need for restaurants to adapt to changing market conditions, such drastic price hikes often come at the cost of alienating loyal patrons. In a city teeming with exceptional Indian dining options, Packwaan pricing strategy may prove to be a misstep, potentially driving customers toward more affordable alternatives.It pains me to voice these concerns, as Packwaan has long been a personal favourite. However, if these pricing trends continue, I fear that the restaurant may lose some of its charm and accessibility, straying too far from the principles that made it such a beloved destination in the first place.
