We turned up on a Wednesday lunch thinking we had booked, turned out we hadn't but the staff were so understanding. They found us a table, not in the main restaurant but we didn't expect to be seated at all because it was so busy. Even though we were tucked out of the way the service was second to none. We all had chicken Sheesh from the lunch menu and a cheesecake and tiramisu. All of it was great and I can't wait to return with a definite booking and a table where all the atmosphere is. Can't fault the staff or the food.

We had a wonderful experience at Topps Pizza. Mr. Shiva provided excellent customer service and gave us a very warm welcome from the moment we arrived. The pizza was absolutely delicious, and my son especially enjoyed it. In fact, the whole family loved the food and had a great time.

Good service, food came out fast. Everything was tasty but having ordered the Wagyu, which is one of the most expensive cuts, I was a bit disappointed.

Not the chefs fault, but if you're recommending a medium rare cook, the steak needs to be thicker than the cut I received. It's impossible to get a sear on steak that thin without it being medium-well at best, which is how it arrived.

I'm sure they would have replaced it if I asked, but my partner was already eating so would've messed up the meal.

As a speciality steak house, I'd have expected the cuts to be of a standard that allow you to choose your cook while still being seared properly.

Aside from that, the restaurant is nice and staff friendly, and food nice.

I was recommended to try Las Iguanas by a previous employee of the restaurant; Luke.
The food was everything I could want, succulent beef with perfectly cooked fluffy rice - and great value! A fantastic suggestion by Luke.
Atmosphere was also provided by the man of the hour (Luke), bringing quality jokes and good vibes to the evening.
I can't recommend this place enough - especially if this guy's around!

It's popular, so you'll probably arrive to find full tables, friendly staff and busy chefs feeding the giant Pizza oven. You don't book for smaller tables of less than five, so we tuned up and logged our details on their waiting list. They were spot on with their 30 minute wait advice. As soon as a table was available we were sat and the pizza started coming.

Our table was directly next to the chefs and pizza oven, the kids loved watching the pizza being cooked. The friendly and engaged staff move around tables with each freshly cooked pizza, you can try and many as your like or skip one if unsure. Every pizza was delicious, and the ingredients were top quality. Including interesting sausage meats, fresh herbs, quality cured meats and some delicious sauces.

The unlimited pizza system allows you two hours, but the rate at which they bring out fresh pizza will max out even the hungriest diner long before that. It's was all very delicious and lots of fun. Can't wait to visit again.

This is a lovely and beautiful pub that me and my family have been to a few times.

It is incredibly dog friendly and the staff and food there is amazing. My great appreciation goes to staff on Sunday when me and my family came in 30 minutes early to our booking and we were still seated early with no issues, as well as the staff proving drinks and sugar to my diabetic mum whose blood sugar levels had dropped suddenly. They didn’t hesitate to provide drinks and anything she need during her episode. They were all supportive and lovely. A big shout to the male worker who was also diabetic (unfortunately did not catch any of the staff names) and helped explain to her why her diabetic system no longer alarmed.

Everything about this place is lovely and we will always come back ❤️

Had Sunday lunch with my husband, starter chicken skewers lovely main Beef roast whould have been exceptional apart from the fact roast potatoes were a bit over done, pudding husband had banoffee cheese cake he said it was amazing. They even had a gluten free option that was not a brownie Apple & Blackberry Crumble and custard, it was lovely.
We were served by Phoebe who was delightful, polite informative and efficient. All staff were very nice, we will definately be back.

I visited The Black Bull and had a wonderful experience. It's a proper, traditional pub with bags of character – think stone walls, wooden beams, open fireplaces, and lots of old-school charm . The staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly, and the service was top-notch .

The food is excellent, home-cooked, and great value for money . I highly recommend the Sunday roast – the beef was cooked to perfection, the Yorkshire puddings were amazing, and the portion sizes were very generous . The steak and ale pie is another standout, packed with flavour .

My family and I highly recommend The Royal Tiger. We have been there many times over the last 18 months and have never had a bad meal. The food is always incredible, well cooked, flavours are amazing, they even have options for our very picky child. The staff are always so polite and would go above and beyond for their customers. We massively lucked out having this restaurant a 2 minute drive from us. We went to one of their summer parties today and it was brilliant, the food, entertainment and staff were all 10/10.

The wait times are obscene however I can understand because it's so much more popular than your average Costa/Starbucks. The prices are slightly cheaper and the quality of the cakes is miles better! Almond croissant - ?However, I did feel a bit cheated when I received my tiny "medium" iced flat white - I guess I will be sizing up to a large next time I go, because Cafe Nero will be a staple for in town coffee dates.

An amazing experience with friends. Welcoming and friendly staff, really good selection of authentic dishes. I do recommend that you try the naga lamb dish if you like a hot curry. I also loved their grilled chops and salmon.

There is a paid parking lot across the main road, so car parking wasn't a big issue.

My friend and I went in Wednesday and genuinely had such a great time. The food was amazing but what made it really stand out was the service. From the beginning all four staff working were incredible. The two main people to serve us were especially great, constantly checking that we were okay for drinks and that everything was okay, asking if we needed anything else. I asked for a recommendation for dessert and it didn’t disappoint, the twix waffle was to die for! I don’t know their names but to the two people who served us, thank you very much, you were incredible and we will be back!

It isn't a restaurant menu by a long way. Instead, it is a brilliant snacking size menu at decent prices. Freshly made, well thought out plates. Try the proper fish finger sandwich. I visited O'Connors for their burgers made by Smashed (available weekends). They are in my opinion the best burgers available. The pub is a great venue to host this food. A good selection of beer & of course Guinness. It has an beer garden with cover, & provides plenty of screens for the big game. They also host a number of evening events such as Karaoke, quiz nights etc. a great venue in Chelmsford.

Outstanding customer service and wonderful people! Having broken down near-by, I was welcomed in with open arms. Drink, food, warmth and a phone charger provided by staff who regularly checked-in to make sure I was okay. I spent nearly 5 hours in the pub waiting for recovery and every single customer was welcomed with a friendly smile and left very content following their meal. Popped in on a very cold and windy Wednesday afternoon for a cup of tea and to use the toilet.

Though I was only there for a few minutes, I found the staff very friendly and helpful and liked the layout inside. There were some good options on the menu, which were all fairly priced, and it was obviously a child friendly place, with toys available.

The venue has step free access and is situated next to a playground and recreation area, making it ideal for visitors. Free parking for users of the park is only a minute or two along the path.

We had a fabulous meal with family for my husband's 70th birthday. This was our 2nd visit here for a celebration lunch and family get together. This time I had booked a private dining room which really made it feel special. On booking, I was emailed by Amy to confirm our booking. She was an absolute delight to communicate with. Two adults in our group have very small appetites and are put off by large helpings of food on their plates. Amy was happy for them to order from the child's menu. Our group all pre-ordered ahead of the date, as requested, our choices from the menu, choosing either 2 or 3 courses. I sent these ahead via email as we were a group of 14, including 2 children. \nWhen we arrived we were warmly welcomed by staff members, even helping to carry balloons through to decorate the room. Once we were all seated, a staff member came to take our drinks orders. Throughout the meal, staff were very attentive and asked us numerous times if we'd like more drinks ordered etc. One review mentions staff needing training?? The reviewer went on the same day as us and even mentions "moody staff"?? We saw no moodiness and all staff from the bar staff, to the serving staff, to supervisor, they were all very friendly, welcoming and professional. We all felt very looked after, and we were never rushed to finish our meal. A group of staff even came in with the cake singing Happy Birthday! Thank you, Amy! Please pass on our thanks and appreciation to the rest of the team! We will be back!
