Came to Chelmsford for Creamfields, after a 40 minute walk back to the hotel we stopped off to get a kebab, staff were welcoming, ordered a chicken donner... When back at the hotel opened the box to find 2 lettuce leaves, a spoonful of mayo and a pitta bread that looked so sorry for itself it even turned over and apologised to us itself... thought maybe we'd gone to a health shop by mistake... But turns out it wasn't... Was only 3 people in the place... Other takeaways had ques out the door... School boy error

Waited two hours for a delivery (was estimated 25 mins) tried calling several times and the phone just rings out. Food arrived hot but was soggy with oil! Lettuce in the burger was sour? Don't waste your time or money here.

Absolutely disgraceful imagine your delivery driver Crying at the front door because he was that over worked, he told me to my face that I wouldn’t enjoy the food and when I didn’t accept it he was more happy then when he arrived what is going on down there I will be contacting the council tomorrow good luck guys

The order was incomplete and after waiting more than two hours for the missing order to be sent, the missing order was canceled by DFC chicken without any notice. I do not recommend

Just got my meal after 2 hours wait it was stone cold after trying to warm it abit we ended up bining it as the meat from the lamb shish kebab was all gristle and the lamb doner was rock hard

Ordered a delivery at 12-30pm it’s already been an hour and a half. They don’t even pick up the phone. Very very disappointing. I’d suggest to order elsewhere.

Trust me if I could leave a less than 1star I would. Ordered food. Still has not turned up over an hour and 30 minutes later when was initially a 40minute wait time. Have been trying to contact the restaurant for last 30 minutes with no1 answering phoneline. Wife had to actually go and collect the food.

Why are you not picking up your phone? I've made an order which shouldn't require much time to prepare as most items of stored in a wamer (chicken wings) another is a milkshake which won't take 5 minutes to make, a pot of sauce and some Baklava which is always made the day before or in the morning so simply requires taking out of the fridge.I specifically ordered these low effort items because it is late and I have work early in the morning and I've been given an ETA of 1 hour. Also, I chose you are you are close to my hotel.So you've taken my money, I'm now not satisfied with the wait time and have tried ringing you copious amounts of times to no avail.Customer server is already off to a bad one.If you have a phone, answer it.I shall keep trying in the hopes you can redeem yourselves. Otherwise, I won't have any choice but to keep your reviews negative.Why you are chosing to sabotage your own business in this way is beyond me. Maybe something eventful is happening in the shop, let's see.EDIT: As promised, here is a fair update.The food did arrive, about 20 minutes before expected. The driver was polite and pleasant. The food, although the Milkshake wasn't that cold the rest was actually quite nice. The wings are rather good if you like your wings with a little kick (nothing too much, just right).It certainly seemed dodgy at first, taking my money then ghosting my phonecalls and there are plenty reviews on here experience similar issues with the restaurant not answering the phone.To the owner of the restaurant, stop alienating your customers by ignoring them, this is what gets you bad reviews. I'm one of a few who is willing to come back like I said when the food has arrived to update the review. But there is no excuse for not answering your phone.Think of it this way, what if someone accidentally orders something in which they are unsure if the ingredients within they may be allergic too, simply wanting to know "Does this contain nuts?" or what have you.It's a VERY basic, VERY simple rule of running a business. Communication!Please for the love of god sort this out and pull yourselves together.Star rating has been ammended but you will not be getting anything past 3 stars until you begin to act like a professional business and restaurant/take-away. Please learn from this.

Good outlet but now too expensive. It's now £6 for chicken and chips here in store yet an outlet a few doors away charges £4 for the same with a drink. That's nearly bargain bucket for 1 territory from kfc where you get far more for a similar price. Only recently it was £5 here which even that I thought was too much. . I love dfc as the food is always good quality but I won't pay those prices any more on principle.

Waited an hour and a half. Tried calling 20 times but no answer. Eventually decided to microwave something. That was ready. Then driver turned up. I took 2 bites of the unbelievably late food and threw it in the bin because it was cold and dry.

The worst kebab ever!! Waited an hour and a half. Chicken shish wrap was a massive disappointment, 4 pieces of tiny dry chicken, ordered it with sauce and salad, there was no sauce in the wrap and a few slices of tomato as ‘salad’. Meat and chips was cold and also dry!! Do NOT order from here!!!
