Went in the evening for dinner with my wife. Had the beef bourguignon which was much better than expected and absolutely delicious and Eton Mess for desert which was quite good.Chloe served us and was on point with customer service and care, overall our experience was an absolute pleasure. Thank you Duke of Wellington, and Chloe especially!

Atmosphere & service was great. The staff were amazing. However, the food and portions were pretty bad. £19 for a steak Sirloin which comes with just a few chips and two onion rings. Somebody else on our table ordered the scampi and unfortunately looked like a school dinner. This disappointed us as the staff were fantastic, but just wasn’t great value for money.. we went home hungry even after ordering 3 courses. Not your typical Greene king.

Haven’t been there in a while heard there was new head chef called Kip who used to work in fine dining so I gave it a go and the food was amazing ! , will be back , gentleman that served me called Luke had amazing customer service skills definitely should be promoted.

We had a fantastic lunch here, starters, mains, sides, desserts & all. Great selection of food for all types of person / age / dietary requirements.The staff are very friendly and helpful, checked in with us a few times and assisted whenever needed (especially with a group of us and children)The pub itself is lovely throughout and what makes it even better is the outdoor space; grass with covered seating and a secure play park for children to burn off their energy before / between / after the courses.The toilets were all cleaned (sign said checked every hour and it seemed that they were!) A disabled / accesible WC and baby changing also available, and car parking too. All of which is very helpful and makes accessible to all.Would recommend and come back again :)Kid-friendliness: Family friendly, outside park which has fencing & secure gate, a baby changing toilet. Kids menu with 2 options for younger / older children.
