Wakehurst place dining in the mansion, table booked food reasonable but not all as the menu,no crackling with the pork. No side plates until we asked for them, extremely good agency waitress, service from the kitchen very slowOveral a disappointment, even the room very bland and for£35 a head we feel well overpriced,

What a terrible experience.. I can’t believe this company can survive.. or has survived this long.Nadia is nothing other than a war monger... god try provide a decent service before arguing.. we visit for a pleasurable food experience not to fight with you!

Visited the British Library. Asked staff what time the afternoon tea finished to return from shopping in time. When we returned later, was disappointed to hear from another staff member, afternoon tea not available at weekends. Sat at a table and saw offers on TV screen. Tried to order, but not available. Staff finally honoured the 1 meal offer that was available. Needless to say won't be returning. Staff pleasant, but communication hindered by their speaking English as a second language. Food quite fresh and good quality.

Fantastic to see this Historic location put to good use. This building was the site Arc Works: Colonel Crompton 1845-1940 Pioneer of electric lighting, established 1878. Please note, this looks like an office, not a walk in Restaurant (from what I can see).
