Decided to go to Jerk station at the chelmsford market and was served by the lovely Austine, the food was absolutely amazing and great service. of-course me & my friend came back again…The food is always amazing and definitely recommend!Vegetarian options: There is a lot options even for vegans :)))

I bought pounded yam and egusi soup and this was actually the best African dish experience I’ve had in the UK. The soup is everything. The quantity was also incredible and the quality is just 100. Keep it up

Thought I’d treat myself to some curry goat for as I usually really enjoy a bit of Jerk Station, but felt like the quality was lacking. Was pretty turmeric heavy, the goat was kinda tough and the plantain was oddly dry. Bit of a shame for £10. Hoping it’s a one off, as I do usually enjoy the food.

I bought Jerk chicken today from Chelmsford market and it was so disappointing, the worst Jerk chicken I ever had. It was very bland, it tastes nothing like the real Jerk chicken. The chicken tasted like it has been cooked for over 3 weeks, it did not tasted fresh at all. I was really looking forward to trying food from Jerk Station, I will never buy from here again. So disappointing. Friendly staff though.

Jerk Station is my regular because the food is simply amazing! It’s therefore a surprise that as a regular, I hadn’t tried the moin-moin. I tried it last Friday ( 06/10/23 ) and I promised Austin I would give a review. The moin-moin had fish in it and I usually don’t have fish in my moin-moin. I would totally recommend it though, too tasty, first fish in moin-moin I ever had and no regrets exactly!
