Lovely food and lovely staff. Have visited twice in the last couple of weeks and both times the service was great and the food delicious. Didn't have to wait for more than a few minutes and my order was ready, will be visiting again soon

The staff of Lotus Chelmsford not friendly. One specific person, maybeshe get up in the other side of bed. Never go to work if you have bad attitude.If the customer ask you don't get angry. I will complain more. Need to settle myself first, because she really gets me angry. I asked politely about the portion of rice they serve. I ordered Japanese curry and they gave me 3/4 full of rice and small portion of chicken curry. And then they told me no one ever complain, then I said its about time you hear someone's complaining because its not right you just give customers what you like, we the customer want also the value of our money. And secondly I've been grow up eating rice and I've been working in Japan for seven years, they never served mushy rice. Chelmsford Lutos staff, you should learn to accept question from the customer because you're the face of the company you've been working, don't be rude with your customers because you don't know that someone can face your rudeness too. I hope this complain will reach the management.

I lived in Japan for almost a decade and I’ve eaten a lot of good Japanese food in London. The chicken Katsu and prawn katsu curry were okay but could be much better. It’s delivered in a large cup like container and it’s all mixed together so the katsu loses its crispy texture. The rice wasn’t quite up to standard as well. Decent portion size but probably won’t order again from here.

Friday in the office, boss asks what we want... we opted for Lotus on the recommendation from a colleague. We ordered 8 meals. All arrived very hot and on time and my goodness the food is amazing ! 2 had the chicken katsu bento and its so big we couldn't finish. Others had the Katsu with noodles and rice.

Just been there now. Have to say probably one of the best service I've received in a long time. Jade was really good and friendly which makes a big difference these days since people are so grumpy and unfriendly. Will definitely go back just because of the customer service alone
