I had my daughters 5th birthday party at the Pizza Express in Moulsham Street, Chelmford and it was amazing. It is a great party venue and everything is set up for you I just had to bring the balloons and the cake. The party host was energetic and really good with the kids keeping them engaged and entertained. One of our party guests even commented “That was the best kids party I’ve ever been to!” My daughter and her kids had the best time. Thank you to the staff who made it so special for them.Parking: Closest parking is at the Q-Park Meadows Car Park.

We took my daughter and 7 of her friends to pizza express in Chelmsford for her 9th birthday.I was very impressed with the service. One waitress really stood out , she was exceptional, Levi. Sometimes when you’re in big groups you feel like you’re being rushed but Levi was very attentive and made us feel so comfortable. Thankyou Levi for helping make my daughters day do special :)

I ordered a takeaway and the order took a total of 2 hours to be delivered, for one pizza!! I tried calling the restaurant 8 times and they didn’t answer. So disappointing, never again!

Went to Pizza Express Chelmsford- Moulsham street- along with my family and it was superb! The staff were incredibly kind and attentive Mauro, Andreia and Reni all served us with great care. The food was delicious and it came very quick! Would definitely come back again.

Food order was bypassed by later orders and so we were waiting for ages, but arrived within minutes of querying this. Pizza almost had some cheese on and was burned at the edges, but to be honest, by then I just wanted to get out of the restaurant. Server did their best under what are clearly under-staffed and under-encouraged working environment. I asked my partner to leave after eating, so that I could negotiate a discount from the bill for the poor experience. The manager was busy on a call (!), and so I had to wait again for him to appear, challenge me, then offer me a 50% discount, which I accepted. He asked if Icame there regularly, and I indicated that this would be the last time. His final "I'm sorry that you don't give second chances" was said with such vitriol, that I will never go back. Fond memories of Pizza Expressed, but this was a dreadful visit.
